I'm kinda shy 👉👈 so I never participate in fandom discussions, but there IS something I wanna post publicly on the extreme off-chance I'm right, lmao.

It's pretty obvious that the Roaring Knight has some connection to Carol or December Holiday. There's been a lot of fanart posted already that is basically "Roaring Knight = December." I have a pet theory, though, that I haven't seen discussed.

I think Roaring Knight is connected to December, but is a discrete entity. It isn't literally Dess, Kris, or Carol, and is instead a manifestation of the grief/trauma the Holiday and Dreemurr families went through after December's disappearance. In my experience, grief can sometimes feel like an utter void, the complete absence of someone, and only negative space remains where they were. The Roaring Knight just visually looks so much like negative space to me, a hole carved out of the universe where someone used to be. December is gone.
