MY FIRST NO-BUY FOR BOOKS FAILLLLLL

ok so what happened was. we stroll into the bookstore. look around, same feeling, not gonna buy anything. we see a shelf, and it said:

50% OFF

and so this costed $8. i have volume 1, which i haven't even read yet. my rationale is that i am collecting all the volumes, but really......... lesson learned: beware of the discount.

also bought a gift for a friend, but i don't count gifts since they won't be in my possession and in my house, which is why i'm doing this challenge in the first place (to declutter).

my classmate and i decided to join an osce competition the uni is doing, we haven't even started prepping yet and it's like in less than 2 weeks

online lecture means getting up, sipping on tea as i stare out the window, and stretching on the yoga mat the moment i start zoning out

things are ramping up and getting exciting but my goodness am i eepy

we learnt how to put in a urinary catheter!! im super thankful for one instructor who let us stay after class was over because i struggled to insert it in one of the mannequins <3

april update:

finished up a lip balm, a moisturiser (not pictured), a cleanser (also not pictured) and mask!

did not buy anything except for skincare replacements: 1 cleanser and 1 moisturizer (a total of 18$)

i registered for the ielts later in the month because my previous one EXPIRED and i want to apply for a particular program next year. now i have something to work towards over break. i just really like having something external to remind myself that i can move around on this earth without feeling guilty for taking up space. dang

which is not a lot of money. i like staring at it when i step out of the home for some fresh air. but i guess it's what it represents: a whim. i was kind of stressed prepping for exams and i fell into a rather monotonous routine (effective, yes, but i guess i craved novelty).
