Lend, how do you deal with toxic people that only want you for what you can do for them?

It happens, and it is hard to say no when there aren't some "obvious signs". it is particularly hard when they say they want to be friends.

The complicated ones are the people that say they will be sad if I don't talk to them, or expect me to stop personal projects because they asked me in a DM a drawing THEY want right now. Drawings take time sadly hahah

Or because I have a lot of patience, saying things like "but you said that you don't get angry easily" when I feel umconfortable, or when I already said no or not now and they don't respect that

I learned the hard way, and well.... You live and learn I guess hahhaa.

I'm quite thankful that it doesn't happen often, but when I see thise subtle signs that I've learned over time, I stop contact emmediately, since I'm not looking for that type of friends.

Be very careful online, I wish you guys to never encounter toxic friends.

I find it hard to believe that there were no broadcasts from Homeworld about how a "Rose Quartz" "shattered" Pink Diamond. How did Spinel not see any of those? And how would she have reacted if she'd seen that? How long after being abandoned did Pink fake her own shattering? Would that have an effect on Spinel's reaction? Would she go crazy with rage and despair directed at Pink like in the movies? Or would her hatred be for this Rose Quartz that murdered her best friend?

I loove this! Yeah i have a lot of questions and “what ifs” if she got to know that a rose quartz “shattered” her best friend, would she avenge her ? or would she grieve and feel like “ so thats why she didn’t come” and move on...

There is absolutely no justice in this. First of all why is he being tried as an adult?

basically the reasoning behind this bs is that he was an accessory to murder because he was involved in the robbery, which “caused” the officer to have to fire his gun. laiketh was offered 25 years if he plead guilty, 65 if he took it to trial. (long sentences like this are basically used to scare people into pleading guilty.) he decided to fight (because, you know, he didn’t actually shoot anyone) but he lost. it’s so sad and stupid.

I don’t usually comment on this sort of thing but this is absolutely batshit. You’ve got to stretch the concepts of mens rea and actually reus to their absolute breaking point before this even begins looking remotely sane. I knew America’s justice system was fucked up in a lot of ways but not like this.

There’s a reason he got the 65 years. First he refused his initial terms and publicly made fun of the court that was handling his case, with remarks like “I don’t have time for this” and laughing out loud in front of the judge.
