An Epicurean Life

Hi there Foodies,

Currently residing in Paris and would travel to other places now and again, one day I said to myself why not create an area where you can share the spots you’ve so far with others.

Epicurus 411 Unleashed is a page to discover the amazing Food 🥘 and Drinks 🍹 that restaurants or bars have to offer.

Many of you wonder where to dine or just have a drink at times when being out and about. Either Tourist or Locals places.

Little did you know, that you are not oblige to go to fancy restaurants or just stay at your hotel or home to enjoy yourself.

There are many spots that are at affordable prices that you may eat until your tummy is full or drink til you drop lol.

What is the point of traveling if it’s not to mix with the people and enjoy food and drinks etc.

I am here to shine some light on those areas, so that you may enjoy your vaca and for anyone just wanting to have a good time.

I'll be posting reviews on restaurants and bars that I've had the pleasure or displeasure being there.

Kirane’s - Ternes, Paris

Hi there Foodies,

I saw the place while walking and decided to go in. Someone was at the door to welcome and of course seat me to my table which become my favorite spot to sit. They waited until I got comfy and settled before coming back to my table, which I found very polite.

Mr Paresh(waiter) came over and asked if I was ready to place my order. I tend to be slow when looking at a menu at times, so I asked if I could begin with a starter then decide about the main course after, with the warmest smile he said yes. This part is important, this is costumer service right here, I told him my choice and he asked me if I wanted to mixed it a little, I said ok. The reason why I said it is important because not everywhere you go the person attending you would ask for your opinion or even give you a suggestion. Most cases, it would be just take your order, wait to see if you have something to add and basta. 5 mins after, my starter came along side with different sauces which was very well explained.

Mr Paresh came back to see if everything was ok and if I wanted anything else. I ordered something to drink( lassi and water), I was so thrilled when he asked if I wanted tab, flat or sparkle water. When he came back with the beverages, he ask if I was ready for the main course, once again he asked how I would like my dish spicy or non spicy, if it is the case the type of spicy that I would like. You guys may not know this yet but I have a sweet tooth, even if I was full at some extent there is always space for dessert always. He made suggestions about dessert but I already had my mind made up on what I would like to have which is my all time favorite.

Overall the place is beautiful and clean environment. The decor would have you feel like you are in India and let’s not forget the traditional Indian music.

The staff awesome, whenever you would look around and your eyes came in contact with them, they would have the most warming smile.

It may sound exaggerating but that day I felt like a princess with all the attention. I definitely recommend this restaurant whenever you are in Paris.

I’ve been there several times to this restaurant since my first visit and like always the staff never seem to disappoint my expectations.
