“I am an example of what is possible when girls from the very beginning of their lives are loved and nurtured by people around them. I was surrounded by extraordinary women in my life who taught me about quiet strength and dignity.”

Topic of the week: Women’s Successes
Submit your own or your favorite Women’s Success stories.
Let’s show female visibility!!
Let’s talk stereotypes
Our society has a set of ideas about how we expect women to dress, behave, and present themselves. Extreme gender stereotypes are harmful because they don’t allow people to fully express themselves and their emotions.
Write it, talk about stereotypes that have been formed throughout your life or left an effect on you.
We live in a deeply-rooted gendered world, let’s destroy these stereotypes together.
I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life's a bitch. You've got to go out and kick ass.

I loved all the body positive feedback I received last week!!
Glad you enjoyed the topic, we all needed to see the extensive self love and happiness.
This week, let’s do stories of women supporting women in any aspect in life.
Recently, I’ve seen an uptick on social media about women pretending to know each other in public to escape negative situations.
Tell me about a time you were apart of anything in that realm!

🌱Self Love Affirmations🌱
I am worthy of receiving the love I give.
I have enough. I do enough. I am enough.
I am proud of myself and all I have accomplished.
I choose to stop apologizing for being me.
I accept myself unconditionally.
I am becoming more confident everyday.
I offer self love and tarot readings ❤️

This weeks topic is body positivity! Here’s something I wrote years ago on an Instagram post:
I was not put on this earth to spend my time trying to mold myself into an unrealistic standard. To my body, I am so sorry for hating you for the majority of my existence. I am sorry for treating you with such hatred & disdain. I am sorry for hurting you and abusing you all these years. You may change, you may grow, you may do as you wish. I am done hurting you. I want to make peace with you. I want to love you, and I hope I truly can someday. This will always be a daily battle for me, a struggle. To all you beauties, I hope you can see how wonderful and amazing your bodies are. Hold them, comfort them, move them, kiss them, love them. Your bodies are amazing and deserve love, not punishment, it took me so long to even begin to understand that. I hope you can see how truly beautiful you are.
Now it’s your turn!! Show positivity, write in or submit pictures 💕
As you see topic of the week is discrimination in the workplace, feel free to submit your stories! You have till the end of the week, we are all in this together!
"Women are responsible for two thirds of the work done worldwide, yet earn only 10 percent of the total income and own one percent of the property… So, are we equals? Until the answer is yes, we must never stop asking."
Sexual trauma isn't a one time event. It's something we battle for a lifetime. No matter how much I tried to mute troubling memories, I couldn't. Flashbacks occurred without warning. Seeing the predator at social events was a constant reminder. I was a broken mess.

Trauma doesn’t make you “damaged goods.” There’s no such thing. You are a person, not a commodity.
Happy International Women’s Day !
I look forward to the day we stop saying ‘me too’ and start saying ‘never again.
