How many people actual read the Codex? What do you think could have been done better? Relating to the Codex or the RP as a whole.
I’d like to know, for the sake of learning from my mistakes.
Last try
I think we were a bit too restrictive of what people could RP as. It strangled the RP before it could start.
There was also far too long of a development phase before the actual RP. I imagine that put some people off.

Search and Rescue
“By the time we get to any caves, they’ll have moved on. It’d be best for us to keep on the run. If we stop, anything could happen,” she said, then trotted towards the bow of the shuttle.
He activated his com and spoke to the pilot. “Alter course for the point I just dumped to your HUD.” He looked back at Rose. “Might as well start there though. Should take less than an extra minute. And if nothing else, if they did camp there we should see signs of their passing we can use to track them down.”
The shuttle touched down on the planets surface, the doors opened and the small team hopped off the shuttle. Two ponies were to stay behind with the shuttle while the rest continued on foot
Search and Rescue
He nodded. “Once we get closer we should be able to contact them. The interference is likely much less near the surface.” He entered the landing shuttle, sitting at the rear command station and checking readiness states on the various systems
Rose entered behind the diamond dog and stood next to him. “Celestia knows how far they’ve gotten. We won’t be able to reach them before dusk.”
The rest of the small team filed into the craft. The door closes and a loud hiss is heard as the hanger slowly depressurized. The pilot receives the clear, and the vessels surges out of the hangar along the same path it took earlier that day.

The team was prepared similarly to Rose Wave, and walked out of the bridge to the main hangar on the other side of the ship
“We’ll need resources to get us through whatever’s down there until we find the others,” Rose said. “Is there anything that can pull us through the nights we’ll spend down there?”
"Standard policy dictates that we carry at least one emergency kit. There's enough rations for a few days. I took extras just in case." One of the ponies explained, he a is young fresh recruit

Some of the lesser crew members volunteer to join her, including the same pilot. In order to keep a low profile, the team will have to search on the ground
“Fantastic. Lead the way,” she said to the pilot with a small grin.
Rose asked the other crew members if they had prepared their weapons and equipment for the journey down.
The team was prepared similarly to Rose Wave, and walked out of the bridge to the main hangar on the other side of the ship

Rose teleported back to her chambers and gathered her portable equipment, preparing her weapons and comm tech for a trip to the surface. She fastened her PCA-413 to her helmet and set the firing rate to semi-automatic, and did the same with her SMG. The maroon unicorn also briefly calibrated her eye, making sure she’d be able to see through the night. After she gathered the necessary things for a trip down to the planet’s surface, Rose teleported back to the bridge.
“I’m going down there to find them,” she said confidently. “Alone if I must.”

Connection Restored... Assessing Situation ((We're Back!))
A massive solar flare had ravaged the star system. The ship's shields protected its crew; however, the massive influx of energy blew out the main power supply. After working for several long hours, the Storm Generators were running again and the communications crew immediately tried to contact the ground team to no avail.

The planet's magnetic field was large enough to push the flare away. However, the radio back to the ship wasn't so fortunate. The team, comprised of Captain Volt, Saving Throw, and Sunlit Moor, was now stranded with no connection to the rest of the crew. Night had already fallen, and the three of them had made a makeshift camp inside a small, uninhabited cave.

The Return of the Crystal Empire drastically accelerated Equestria's technological development. One of the most notable advancements is Magitek technology. Produced under the authority of the Equestrian Government, Magitek crystals are intended to store and magnify magical energy. Magitek crystals are vital for ship weaponry and FTL travel.
However, Magitek always requires an initial input of power. Various ways of generating power have been developed over the years. One of the most notable is Storm Generators. Storm Generators contain small "storms" generated by a pegasus pony (multiple for large generators). This storm spins a turbine which generates electric power. Storm Generators have to be replenished regularly, as such, all Equestrian vessels have at least one pegasus who specializes in the daring feat.
