MHM and I do have a lot to say regarding Carme and Moon🗣️
I've already shared my thoughts on Rigel (+him and Carme’s relationship), and most of them haven’t changed. Waiting till we get to see more of the bastard.

Overall, I'm enjoying Carme’s portrayal. I so badly want to know what he went through. The emotional response to seeing Rigel hit me hard. The kind of distress he was representing of becoming fully irrational and basically lashing out on anyone that tried to reason with him 10/10. And even after he told Moon to shut up, you can faintly hear him say “I did it again.” — Proving more to my theory of Carme being conditioned to the person he’s become, due to the trauma he’s experienced. Mostly what I've suspected about Carme's emotional state is accurate, and I fully expected this reaction from him. —probrably not to this extreme extent.
Obviously my biggest issue is Moon. Moon WAS trying to help — albeit very poorly. Carme refusing help does not give Moon alot of options. Moon is not equipped to handle these emotionally tense situations, but he has proven many times in the past he is capable if he understands the context. Moon is someone who gets continuously aggravated if not given all the details. What I’ve said before about Moon almost putting Carme on a pedestal comes into play here. He’s never seen this side of Carme and has an already set impression of him. Arguably, he doesn’t know Carme well enough. Carme lashing out at him turns into Moon basically creating an emotional distance. He is seeing the similarities they have between each other as moons and it’s effecting his judgement. Rather than acting on what would be best for Carme, he’s acting based on his own experiences.
Of course, none of it is an excuse and I don’t like it. To me it doesn’t feel like our current Moon, more of him reverting back to previous behavior patterns. Moon has grown a lot as a character from who he was at the start of the show, and even as he’s still working on himself and at times repeating his old ways, its disheartening to see that effect his relationship with Carme. But I will never expect him to be perfect.
I’m sure there will be a turning point in this for the both of them. They’ll find their way back to each other, because in the end this friendship has been a huge focus from the start. Even if Moon took the right steps, the scene still would’ve ended the same. It’s Carme who has to be willing to let people help him, but we have to understand he is a victim of abuse with still very fresh wounds. These two could do so much for each other if they would just push for that connection. They are a basic Yin and Yang, two sides of the same coin.
I only now worry about Carme😭😭
‼️(smaller thoughts on this because as much as i enjoy doing analysis, it can can be overwhelming doing them so often when i just wanna enjoy watching the show and post art. i’ll try and post them from time to time because i love sharing my takes, but im giving myself a breather JUST KNOW IM LURKING.)

The implications of today’s episode have me a bit skeptical. As far as we know, Carme and Moon were sent to Carme’s home dimension. I have no doubt.
But what KS said makes me curious.
He knew about the memory patches, got a reaction out of Carme. When Carme demanded to know how he could’ve known that information, KS follows:
“Wouldn’t you like to know?”
“That wouldn’t necessarily be in your best interest.”
Ya could mean nothing. Im sure KS has his own ways to spy on MoonHaven. I find it very interesting that the little of Rigel we’ve been given — his voice lines imply he has been watching over Carme in some way:
“I’ve seen you around here. What do you do?”
This could just mean within their home dimenstion. Especially with the usage of the word “here”. Rigel discovers Carme and Moon wandering around— Leading to a confrontation.
However i’m just taking it into consideration. Esp with how KS words himself directly to Carme. If they are sent to Carme’s home dimension, I highly doubt that was on accident. KS seems to somewhat know of Carme — And always acts in what he twistedly believes to be the best interests of all Suns.
I’m saying that I think KS is or has been in contact with Rigel. At the most, giving Rigel information about Carme while spying on MoonHaven. I’m not exactly sure why KS would willingly do this or what deal him and Rigel COULD have. There also could be no deal and he’s doing it just because Rigel is a sun that is just as fucked up as him. No fr I can smell the unhinge from this dude.)
KS sent them there PURPOSEFULLY because he damn well knows who waits for Carme. ☠️☠️
They rlly ain too different frm how the rest of the fandom draws them. Only thing I did tweak was Carmine’s frills/collar.

Carmine's toxic trait is that he is attracted to obviously broken people.
Mirroring himself in them, he hopes he can fix himself by "saving" them.
But there is no easy fix or solutions. He never find the thing to fix either of them. Using a person as a mirror of yourself, only to realize how little you think of yourself, will only lead to hurting the other.
Until Carmine can fine the truth within himself, rather than desperately clinging to others in search of solutions, he'll only stay stuck in an evil circle.
He's not a therapist, he's just a very good listener and desperate to provide forgiveness to others, because he can't forgive himself.

Hearing Moon finally admit hes terrified about something is so relieving bro. Even if its to himself
The main emotions he'll ever admit to is anger, sadness, and confusion. Even then it takes a minute for him to admit it. He seems to also find comfort in animals when hes crying. He reminds me of a sheep in wolves clothing everytime I watch an episode that revolves around him.
3:28 , I think the main reason of this was because pets are known to sense when someones feeling down or anything of the sorts. One wrong move that even hints at sadness, animals know. Especially cats. So he tries to avoid them and not have pets draw attention to him.
Also, 12:39 , reminds me of when he said "I try to be whatever anybody needs me to be" in "Sun RUNS AWAY...?!?!". Its honestly kinda nice to see that starting to show a lot more in this episode. Moon can deny it all he wants but at the end of the day he is some sort of people pleaser when it comes to family and friends. He cares so deeply and feels so much it destroys him internally.
13:35 , Moon clearly didn't care if he lived or died before all of this. He accepted death way before like hes standing on this line waiting to be blown one way or the other. Now that he has so much to lose, so much to leave behind, he wants to live. He has purpose in life now. He's got a son, a pet, brothers, a sister, four friends that he'd die for, its not worth putting his life on the line for some dumb decisions anymore. One wrong move and he loses everything he worked so hard to earn.
11:59 - 16:56 , This whole conversation, Moon held back tears. He hadn't started crying before because the door was wide open, anyone could see him and coddle him but he doesn't wish to be coddled. Maybe because he felt forced to "grow up", to not be the one coddled but to be the one coddling others. He was already labeled as the smart one, the "older" one, the one that fixes the problems. Then the MOMENT Carmine walked out, he broke down Infront of the animals. The animals he said he didn't like. They provided him a sort of comfort now that he's let out his feelings.
9:06 - 10:01 , THIS shows how much Moon has grown. Back then, if this had happened, there's a 79% chance that Moon would do it. Give someone else the problem. Now? He refuses to do so because he doesn't want someone to lose their memories aswell, doesn't want someone to not make their own new memories, not do the same thing he did to Sun. Never again. He doesn't wish for anyone to be in his shoes and it shows a lot more each episode.
He loves so much and feels so much it always comes out way too little to the point others might think its mixed signals. He bottles so much up it comes off as an attack. He forgets to the point it becomes a weapon and a death trap.
I love Moon so much its not even funny anymore guys.

I'd like to think that he somehow snuck this past the Moon Haven without suspicion, so no one knows that Carme literally lives with five fucking tigers. Imagine Rust coming in one day to talk to Carme about missions, and he just walks in on Carme nested between five huge carnivorous cats. 😂😭
