It seems like this RP is dying out, hardly any of the members have been posting.

It's incredibly unfortunate. Many of them have been joining another roleplay started by some other members. There was some uneasiness about post-Hogwarts roleplaying, which is what started it.

I don't think my last message went through on here so I wanted to send other just to be sure. I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm leaving. With everything that has recently been going on I just feel like the RP is not a good place for me to be right now. I just need to get my life in order and figure things out. It has been fun and I'm going to miss you all so much. But best of luck to everyone and I wish you all well.-Noah

So, flashback week is ending today, but I'm on vacation right now --> we won't be able to finish our para with Bella.Would that be a problem, if we continued it? Just that one.

Is Narcissa open or not the girl isnt really active.

ooc; I have never para'd with her or had much interaction with her myself. And I don't think she's been on in a while *GOES TO CHECK* Yeah, she was on a week ago saying "she wants to be more active in this rp" and then nothing. And then the posts before that are from a month ago....so....

No she's not very active- I think I want to talk to Dory (our mod) about people disappearing and not saying where they're going because then we can get new applicants for key roles (like Narcissa) who'll stay and be merry with us :)

Dory: If you want to wow us with a Narcissa, feel free. :3 I think if you feel you can be active, it would be far more effective in roleplaying and the like and way more fun -- I don't think any of us have had a para with her in a long time.

The flashback days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with Flashback in the title of your paras if you'd like to do it.

I honestly found the situation incredibly stressful and hard to deal with, so that's what it is -- just paras for those who wish to.

Well, whatever you want to do. I was just letting you know that everybody was graduating because it's June.

So if you want to make him a sixth year, that's cool, or if you just want him to graduate with everybody else, that's fine as well.

I'm German**Full Name: Thomas Stephen Haymes Age: 17/18House: he belongs to no house as he came an year to study at Hogwarts from another Wizarding school Friends/Enemies: his enemies are most of the death eaters, as his father has been murdered by them after claiming in the middle of the day how much he hated Voldemort and how wrong all this "Death Eater" thing was. As friends, I don't think he had time to make many friends. He's quite a loner. Short description of personality: He's very quiet and he likes to observe the people around him, trying to understand them without having a conversation with them. He's not shy at all and he's very direct to people. He's courageous, and he had quite a marked and a dramatic childhood. He has many sibling (I won't bother to find names for all of them). He's irish, halfblood. Mom was a Muggle-born and his dad a pureblood. He can remember very good any discussion he once had, he's not forgetting anything. He has a visual memory (I hope that's how it's called like). Although he believes in love, he once promised himself never to fall in love, because life is dangerous enough. I also see him as having quite some interest in Dorcas, because of something she said once at the library. It made him be more attentive to what she says. How will they be beneficial to the RP: (this took me more to write than the para. is that even normal? :))) I believe that as a good observer, he could see things other don't, he could be like a 'sherlock holmes', wizard type. Short para sample: Tom was sitting in the Great Hall eating his lunch. He was pretending to be reading his Charm lesson once more, but in fact he was inspecting the students. Right in front of him were sitting at the Slytherin table two possible Death Eaters. "Idiots", he thought and then moved his attention somewhere else. At the Ravenclaw table were sitting two happy couples: Noah Davies and his future wife, Olly and Noah's friend, Devon Brightmore and his girlfriend, Maleficent Malfoy. She was a kind and funny person, not at all like her other family members. Then at the Gryffindor table were three members of the so called group "The Marauders". Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black, whose wounds were still visible. They were laughing at something James Potter has said in the morning, and it seemed to be indeed funny. Tom looked around the room to find the 4th member of the group, but he seemed nowhere to find. Walking around the hall, Charity Burbage was serving everyone cookies made personally by her, which Tom found very nice, but unfortunately not all students seemed to think the same way. Also at the Gryffindor table were Lily Evans, Marlene McKinnon and Dorcas Meadowes, who had her crutches with her and was speaking very fast to her sister, Bernadette. She actually seemed like giving her little sister more like indications than advices. Marlene and Lily were both silent, staring at their plates, and whispering something to each other in order not to disturb their friend and her sister. Tom then turned his head away from them to the professor's table. He catches Professor Dumbledore's staring at him, eyebrows raised. He looked at him like he would say "I'm just examining my classmates, nothing more", then grabbed his stuff, without eating anything and left the hall, smiling mysetrious. that might be a bit confusing. just do it for the three days like you said majority of the people want to to it and those who dont can just lurk or something.

in the topic title, colon, topic title.

What I meant by that is you don't have to participate and you can do regular roleplaying; that will just be para for the most part. But it can be regular posting, it just has to be labeled "flashback."

Although that might be a bit confusing.

But I know my Lily might hate me a bit for not allowing me to post attractive pictures of her boyfriend for three days, thus I can.

I'm trying to make everybody as happy as I can.

You can't please everybody, Dory, but I can understand you trying. I think it's a good compromise. It might be confusing, yes, but a lot of roleplayers want to try it and I don't think we should say no. I understand others' hesitance to go for it, our crack week was sort of all weird and whatever, but I don't think we should be afraid of trying new things in the roleplay.

i just don't really like the idea of a flashback week.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week, if you would like to have Flashback, put flashback in your topic.

I don't want to cause anymore organized chaos.

I hate making anyone unhappy, though.

i also don't like the idea of flashback week. it just seems that there is so many things going on with each other the characters and it just seems like it will disrupt a lot of things that are currently going on. but like the other anon i am also to nervous to speak out how i feel about it. i think that if it does happen i won't be active that week and im afraid that when i come back i will feel disconnected from the rp like the last dorcas did after crack week ended.

im sorry, but i don't really like the idea of flashback week i mean I like the rp how it is and its kind of different and stuff. I mean if it only lasted a few days like 3 or something then i guess so but what if some role-players are too nervous to say they dont like the idea?

We still encourage you! I understand for characters like Bellatrix, Lucius, or Evan it doesn't change anything but just interrupts the time-stream. But everybody is willing to roleplay with you, I know! I know Jessie and Becca often roleplay with just themselves, but I know even they reach out to other people and are wonderful people.

Any one of the roleplayers wants you to feel welcome, and I, as an admin don't want you to be nervous about it.

But I do have one question to ask: Why don't you like it? I've heard before it "interrupts plots," but we have had a lot of big plot points recently, so this is a bit of a break. We'll jump right back to where we were before.

But I'd like feedback. So do tell and don't be shy. I won't take it personally.
