… And now on with the story!
As October lurks right around the corner, the energetic of U.A.High have wasted no time getting into the Halloween spirit. A full-fledged committee has formed and the students who are a part of it are tasked with putting the Halloween event at the end of the month together — from decorations to figuring out the finer details of the costume contest! All goes well, without incident … until a certain news report heard and read by students and faculty far and wide emerges …
A serial killer who had been caught by a combination of heroes and law enforcement just a few months ago had managed to escape from prison. He’s known as “The Grim Reaper” for the all-black outfit he wears and the heavy breathing his victims hear coming from behind them before he strikes. He was known for attacking his victims with a massive scythe — hence his name. The facility where The Grim Reaper was held happens to not be incredibly far from U.A., but the school reassures its students the following morning after the report breaks that security will be made even more strict than it already for the sake of their safety. What’s even more curious is that none of the reports state what The Grim Reaper’s Quirk is — his past or any other relevant information pertaining to him. The excuse is that “police aren’t comfortable with giving out such details just yet.”
Which only leaves the question … if someone were to run into him, how would they defend themselves?
But the “creepy” factor doesn’t stop there. The following night, the students of U.A.’s Class 1B discover something unsettling in the boy’s bathroom. Written in red ( lipstick ) on a glass mirror are the words: YOU’RE NEXT 🔪
Almost purposefully mocking those fateful words spoken by All Might after his final fight.
The graffiti is quickly cleaned up and 1B decides to keep the incident to themselves in fear that telling a faculty member might lead to the cancellation of the big dance everyone is so excited for. But that doesn’t stop certain students from the class approaching students from 1A and placing the blame on them. But Class 1A strongly denies any involvement, as does Class 1B.
But then the questions still stand: Who wrote that message? Why? What does it mean? And if it’s no one from EITHER of their classes, then was it someone else from a different class? Or someone who doesn’t go to U.A. at all?
