          okay so hermione is clearly more adept at ACADEMIC studies, in fact, she’s pretty terrible at anything remotely ARTSY. i feel like if she could draw/do art and stuff, she would definitely do it in her down time, obviously between books or something, but honestly, i feel like she’s really quite terrible at not only music, but art and drama too. she’s not even very good at lying, stuttering and stumbling over her words. when it’s IMPORTANT she can muster up some sense of urgency with her fibs, however; being put on the spot to think of an excuse, especially to the hogwarts professors, she’s fairly useless, again, more so in her first few years at hogwarts.

                 wildberry chocolate chunk; a social life headcanon.

           tbh i see hermione as an ambivert? like, she enjoys spending time with people, she enjoys going to social gatherings and having fun. however, oftentimes she’ll much prefer to sit down with a good book and spend some time ALONE. it very much depends on her mood. she’s no stranger to making friends easily, more so at hogwarts considering she ACTUALLY FITS IN THERE. prior to age eleven, when she went to a muggle school, i think she probably definitely struggled in social situations. and like, i read a headcanon yesterday that said it made more sense for hermione to be poc because she didn’t react badly to being called MUDBLOOD because she half expected some form of racisim. and like, i feel as though not only her colour ( in my version, anyway ) but also being a little strange with the whole WITCH THING made it hard for her to make friends. she still had a few, probably, but perhaps not as many. so to get back on point bc holy shit i rambled a lot, i think she was probably more an introvert in her younger years, but attending hogwarts and making friends with ron and harry, especially, made her more extroverted, in a sense. she still gains her energy, more so, from spending time alone. however; she definitely also finds it easy to slip into social situations and gain energy from being around her peers and friends.

              idk what to write for this one, like, i feel as though hermione probably hasn’t been out of england ( other than for school. ) that she remembers. she definitely wants to travel, but ( in later years ) there’s not much time to while preparing for war, and post war, though they could all use a holiday imo, i feel she’s probably more inclined towards healing her mental health by throwing herself into her work. she finds peace more by learning and reading than by going somewhere away from home. she prefers being with people she loves to heal than by running away and exploring. besides, for an eighteen year old ( by the end of the books tbh ) she’s definitely had enough excitement to last her entire life, lbr.

      headcanon.          though perfectly capable, && though she knows the spells, hermione much prefers to do HOUSEHOLD CHORES by hand. if she’s in a rush, of course, she’ll do less liked chores with a flick of her wand, such as laundry or vacuuming, however, cleaning the dishes is something she ENJOYS. it’s a peaceful task, && she’d much prefer to stand for a few moments && clean them all by hand than cast a spell && have it done with.
