Cuba’s collection of Joaquin Sorollas in the Palace of Fine Arts in Havana consists of 32 fantastic works made by the Valencian impressionist master between 1890 and 1910. The works in the collection used to belong to private collections of the privileged in Cuba before 1959, among which stand Pescadores valencianes (1908) and Fent-se a la mar (1908), directly among the most relevant works of his life.
