truly. every time i see them together i just think about his big dick. i canāt believe how lucky she is. punching holes in the drywall over it. also
remember when timothee did this to kylie (repeatedly) and i said he should be beheaded for the crime of misogyny and she needs to be put in a reeducation camp? i now understand i actually didnāt mean that, i just have timee derangement syndrome. grab her ass šāāļø
sorry, but i have to add: is he wearing bronzer? as a fan of a ruddy bronzed cheek, i'm clocking it. also, i love those sunglasses. so tasteful. so pretty. makes it difficult to defend him from the pegging allegations, and i am a noted hater of pegging. but i'll do it. i'll get the strap.
iām in the trenches
Goodnight
god, for just one night, please send me a sweet virginal boy who will die in wwii
Thereās good out there, 2025 by YongJae Kim (South Korean, b. 1985); Oil on panel, 16" x 20"
saw zoe in the trailer for her new film and all i could think was, i know she tried to fuck nicholas hoult š but did she succeed?
also anna sawai looks so cute, as does zoe. is it enough to make me watch it? perhaps not. 2006 ass movie
Ariana grande is my problematic fav. I know she has done so many bad things, and I donāt condone any of them. But she has a beautiful, talented voice, and I like to see a problematic woman continue to achieve mainstream commercial success despite being perceived as unlikable. And afaik sheās never beat anyone or raped anyone or any of the other nasty shit uncancellable male celebrities do . Politically, she is one of the more left leaning celebrities who posted about ice. I would not want her in my life and her anorexia should not be emulated. But I feel like all her crimes come from being a messy person instead of outright malice. Idk maybe Iām tripping. Cheating is bad, racefishing is bad. But I somehow enjoy seeing people get mad at her and it not affecting her success much. I also enjoy her look more than I enjoy the other whitte women celebrity;s looks, probably because she āborrowsā from other cultures. I even like the hand tats because they somewhat go against the mold. I like how she and Cynthia erivo cried all the time in interviews and didnāt act completely like ācool girlsā. I have only heard one of her songs outside of wicked.
"I have only heard one of her songs outside of wicked" made me cackle in shock omg. girl idek what to say to this, except i kind of agree.
i am endlessly excusing her shitty behavior because i do like some aspects of her personality. she's incredibly intelligent, extremely talented, overtly malevolent, and most of all really pathetic. a lot of women feel similarly about chappell roan, but i think ari (as you said) is actually really charming and sincere and oddly vulnerable, even when she's being a raging monster (or petty and mean-spirited, which is more common). i suppose she is my "diva", which obviously means i have a toxic love-hate relationship with her. so it's interesting to hear the perspective of someone who hasn't been a fan but finds her charming.
Thoughts on Doja Cat ?
upsettingly big head. annoying. always wrong. reeducation camp
have you seen half man? the men look so ugly but the premise seems soooo interesting..... (read: tumblr whump tag material)
i watched the first episode and didn't really like it :( i'll try to watch more, because i enjoy richard gadd and jamie bell (who is looking rough for 40, omg) but right now it seems like meandering torture porn. which i highly respect coming from a man directing it at another man, but it might not be for me.
i think i have to find at least one of the men getting beaten attractive to be invested in the whump of it all ... i did briefly perk up at the blond boy after he got his face beaten in (such tasteful and pretty bruises, kudos makeup team), but that was a passing pleasure. also jamie bell gives poor, scared, trapped animal energy when he's being abused and it just makes me pity him lol
you said z isnt as good of an actor as she could be bc she doesnt challenge herself and its primarily her presence and work ethic that makes her so beloved by her peers and lands her such big roles so i'd like to hear your thoughts on this take from bradley cooper. imo i think z is a great actor, head and shoulders above many of her peers of the same generation, bc while youre right that she doesnt often challenge herself she still imbues each of her characters with a level of interiority that really fleshes them out and makes them compelling even if the material shes working with is kinda meh. the dialogue in dune is notoriously middling bc denis hates dialogue but z knocks it out of the park when her face and body language are what shes primarily using. but i think this quote comparing her to liz taylor is a good comparison re: the presence and star power side of z. she has that special a-list quality that just draws ppl in- directors, fellow actors, etc. shes magnetic in a very special way
thanks for sending this in! the comparison to brando is interesting; i don't think it's particularly apt, but i think i understand what they mean? she has a style of acting that seems naturalistic but is actually highly stylized, much like brando.
i think liz is a more accurate parallel, because liz was an infamously stiff actress at the height of her stardom (she improved in her later years). she was constantly criticized for not having the chops and cruising off her beauty and charisma. unlike liz, z doesn't go out of her way to highlight her looks; in fact, she prefers unglamorous roles. that being said, she does have the charisma and a similar power over the gaze. this ability is what makes her so appealing to directors who typically prefer white women. famously, richard burton whined endlessly that liz was not a great actress but she received more credit from directors and audiences than he ever did.
Hi, I watched Forbidden Fruits a couple of months ago and the more I think about it the more I realize it has a lot of issues. Maybe if there had been a different or better writer than the movie couldāve been great. I saw that it was compared to craft, mean girls, and heathers but I donāt think it should be compared to those movies. The plot unravels pretty quickly and as the movie progresses it almost seems like it doesnāt know what it wants to be ( I hope that makes sense). I didnāt care for Pumpkinās character arc. I also didnāt know Diablo Cody was racist. Sorry for the rant. Iāve been wanting to say that for a while.
thanks for sharing! a lot of lesbians on my dash and FYP have been reblogging gifsets from forbidden fruits and i just simply do not see the appeal, but i'd have to watch it to truly comment on it, of course. and as for the "racism" allegation, i just dislike how cody deals with race. i wasn't even aware alex shipp was involved in the project because these gifsets i've been seeing only feature the white and wasian girls, but once i saw shipp's role i was immediately reminded of cody's disastrous failed powerpuff girls reboot. she has this bizarre fixation on casting black girls in these really butch and tough roles in order to highlight the extremely heightened femininity of the white female leads. she's a lot like a white male director in that way, actually.
also, it must be said, juno sucks and it really shouldn't have given her such staying power in her career, but it has. i remember watching it in high school and being mystified even then by why everyone was praising her (and ellen page and michal cera, to be honest, but that's another conversation).
radfem here, haven't seen weapons yet but uh is Pearl a feminist icon? I thought people just reblogged cool gifsets of her but otherwise those movies are very very male-written imo
i mean, if you consider libfems "feminist" then yes, i'd say she's an icon. and even more radical-minded feminists seem to think that, as you alluded to, aesthetically she is substantive.
but the pearl films, from what i know, are indeed male-centered and the first one is especially disgusting. it's all just weird male slop that seems, to me, significantly more harmful than even the most overt hagsploitation.
When that post nut clarity hits and you remember that you killed him 20 years ago
