i’am honestly at a loss for words. columbine survivor austin eubanks who lost his best friend corey depooter in the shooting has died last night at his home in steamboat springs. austin has been very public about his battle with opioids and went all over the country to talk about the treatments needed. the cause of his tragic death has not been determined yet. austin went through so much in his thirty seven years on earth and it breaks my heart to know that he’s gone. may he rest peacefully and be reunited with corey again. i’m sending all my love to both his family and friends.

Okay, so....

Because I had been seeing such good things about it, I started listening to The Last Podcast on the Left. I started with the first Columbine episode. Less than 2 minutes in, they said they are going off a “fucking amazing” book called Columbine written by Dave Cullen. Y’all - do they really base both episodes on this book? Because, if so, hardest pass possible.

I have been talking to a beautiful survivor of the Parkland shooting, guys. She gave me permission to share her story with the community and I have to say, her statements are so heartbreaking 💔 She wishes to remain anonymous.

She was only 14 when the shooting happened, turning 15 a few weeks after the tragic event. She knew the victims, Martin Duque, Gina Montalto and Luke Hoyer. She was in room 1215, on the first floor of the Freshman building.
