This was the very first @taylorswift mashup that I made. I put the video together later once I realized I was super into this whole thing. I really like how this one came together! There’s something almost hypnotizing about it. I rearranged some footage in a couple of spots to make the onscreen action follow what the lyrics are saying. She’s so cool and funny, and I think this amplifies those features.

Since this is a mashup with a DMX song there’s a lot of NSFW language. There’s a link to the clean version in the description of the video if you would rather see that. The videos are identical.

The great feeling when you find out that you @taylorswift have the same sense of humor!

I love @taylorswift and her music! After hearing “The Archer” I came up with this mashup. She and Cyndi Lauper are both excellent!

I recorded my kid's reactions to seeing @taylorswift in the Cats movie trailer for my podcast. They loved it!

In 2014 @taylorswift said that if she had a theme song it would be “Backseat Freestyle” by Kendrick Lamar. Making Taylor Swift mashups has become a bit of an obsession for me, so this seemed like a natural one to work out.

Taylor, if you ever see this, I made this for you. I hope someday you’ll see it and enjoy it. It was made with much respect for you and Kendrick. I think you’re amazing. @taylornation
