A perfect Grey’s Anatomy series finale:
Meredith has her first Alzheimer’s symptom and goes to work thinking it’s her very first day, just like Season 1.

DAMN GREYS BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH THE CLIFFHANGERS
RIP Kepzona
“It hurts to tear that bandage off. We don’t want to see what’s underneath. But maybe it’s not the fear of the pain that holds us back. Maybe we’re really afraid to see if the wound underneath is still open or if it might actually be healing.” - Meredith Grey, 12x15
No one knows for certain how much impact they have on the lives of other people. Oftentimes, we have no clue. Yet we push it just the same.

I exist in two places. here, and where you are.

i wanted to write an apology poem to this body but it has been done so many times already and i don’t know how to be all the way sorry yet, and then i will have to teach these bones to forgive.

Forgiveness is a powerful thing, Meredith. Not only to make the other person feel good, but to heal you.
I hear my impact is giving me a good name, but what’s really in it for me? That I’m a good, hardworking person? I worked my ass off for how long to get myself this far? I’ve been advocating for myself for a long ass time and it’s like everyone always wants more. I’m really over the bullshit and wasting my fucking time on things and shit that don’t matter.
I’m so ready for a change of scenery, maybe even new people at that. I’ve been stacking up for something new and I’m convinced the time is near. Only problem is, it’s like I can’t seem to get that engine started.
My my, how much have things changed.
damn.
