roman was saying something about how we should retreat from the argonauts instead of fighting them, since we already have euryale, and i responded to him out loud with a muttered, deadly calm, “roman, i am going to beat the shit out of jason.”

JASON: you can’t win! as if you could! heracles travelled everywhere, fought every monster. he was undefeated, and ultimately rose to become a god! he’s not like you second- and third-raters. you trash mobs are fated to be ripped to shreds!

in terms of bond levels, cascú has been consistently ahead of everyone else, even those that i had gotten before him, so i just imagine that cascú just fell immediately into friend love with me

robin hood's bond level progress feels steady and not particularly remarkable--he likes me well enough, but he's more cagey about showing it--whereas with jekyll, there was A Big Mountain that took so long to climb and then everything after that has been very easy. he and hyde both love me so much now

... and right now i'm trying to get emiya and gilgamesh's bond lvls up. emiya just hit lvl 2 and i'm still waiting for gilgamesh to get there so that i can swap one of them out for kiyohime for a bit

i had an event ticket that i could spend on one (1) 4-star servant and i was torn between saber siegfried and caster gilgamesh--i only have one saber, which is fergus, whom i don't use because he is a rugged older man, which is Not My Type, so tactically i probably should have gone for siegfried, but... gilgamesh... too pretty

so i got gilgamesh. and now i'm waiting for my ap to recover so that i can mine more caster exp so that i can yoink his lvl up

literally the only classes i ever use/homegrow rather than pull a support for are assassin (hi jekyll, love you), archer (robin hood and emiya!), and caster (cascú and now gilgamesh! <3)
