About: At the age of five, Vanitas biological parents died from food poisoning--having been in a poor home to begin with, the boy took to crime on the streets. eventually, he ended up in Gotham. He was a clever boy to begin with, even finding the time to learn extra talents that would help him cheat his way through living on the streets. It didn't take long before he was pulled by the Wayne foundation and sent to a foster home. Vanitas was quickly put through schooling, though the boy didn't get along with his schoolmates; his first day ended in a fight that earned him a black eye and busted lip.
The boy learned to hack computers, disable alarm systems, and breech motion sensors with ease. After a while, he heard about the Dark Knight and his sidekick, the Boy Wonder. It wasn't long of the boy hearing this that he found out--Robin had died horrifically. The now thirteen year old orphan was saddened, but not enough to go looking for the Dark Knight. He asked his foster parents to enroll him in "self defense" courses, which later turned out to be training soldiers.. assassins almost. And the young Raven wanted nothing to do with killing others. When he'd learned this news, he escaped the teacher and a few students with his knowledge gained through his time before the Wayne foundation.
Not too long later, Van had learned that the assassination attempts weren't going to stop. In a desperate attempt, the boy left his foster home and adopted the persona of Stellarjay. His suit started as blue with black accents--what better way to portray a bird known for its stellar coloration than to wear them himself? However, thanks to his past knowledge and new abilities, van was capable of defending himself and, along the way, others. By the time the teen hit seventeen, he was working in a garage and as a personal trainer, as well as driving a small, old truck.
When the boy hit nineteen, he had come up with a product to begin selling on the side. After two years, he finally began growing a business from it. By the time he was twenty, he injured himself during a galla he was present at. Shortly after this, the man moved to Blüdhaven and began building his company around the product he sold. This shortly became Faye Industries, which grew quickly. Vanitas now owned a large mansion, and began donations to charities dealing in orphaned children.
Because of his incident, Vanitas' right leg was permanently unable to hold his weight for long periods of time, causing the man to need to begin walking with use of a cane. Vanitas then decided it was time for his suit to be upgraded, changing the colors to gold and black and calling for it to have nearly impenetrable armor. He upgraded the right leg of his suit to be able to pick up the weight his leg could not fully take, including a flexible leg brace that allowed for the easiest and most fluid of motions.
Vanitas is CEO of his company, meaning now and then while he does have a little time on his hands, he is usually in his place of residence keeping a scan of crime in the city continuously going when he got home from the Faye meetings.
Personality: Vanitas is a flirt as well as a bit of a talker. If he can strike up a conversation with someone, he will continue it until one of them needs to either leave or he has to work on something. He also has a tendency to be rather blunt or even rude at times when irritated or simply lacking sleep. His temper is not something to mess with, either. When upset or extremely angry, he will be brutally honest and say things that would easily hurt someone’s feelings.
Appearance: Vanitas has rather long, spiked hair (Tends to be rather messy as well), and golden eyes with a lean build. Outside of work, his attire varies.
