in this situation, what we've been doing is taking a screenshot of the post and uploading it on something like catbox or file garden. if you copy the image link from there you can save it on archive.org.

which im sure is probably hell for anyone relying on a screen reader. though having an image of the post is better than losing it entirely, imo.

im pretty sure you can still save the actual post with archiving websites if its been reblogged by a blog that has the "custom theme" setting enabled, thankfully. though a lot of MOGAI after dark blogs we've seen dont have that enabled, so..

(nevermind, scratch that, apparently tumblr has updated in some way or something. can no longer archive posts that were reblogged either. i was able to not long ago..)
