@Yukina
Kisa felt his pocket vibrate. He sighed, yanking it from his pocket to see what he said. His heart felt a little heavy. Even if he could have met him somewhere, he didnât want to bother him with coming to find him. Thatâs how they usually got to see each other -Yukina going out of his way to see him. The blacked haired man stood, staring at his phone screen. He needed to make a decision about what he was going to do, fast, and it would have been easier if it didnât sound like someone was calling his name. He paused awkwardly, looking up. More shock and more embarrassment hit him. Not only had someone actually been calling his name, but that someone just happened to be Yukina, and he was running over to him. Â Too late to hide now, he thought. He took a deep breath, preparing himself for explaining why he was soaked.Â
His own problems aside, Kisa noticed how absolutely breathtaking his boyfriend still was - and always would be. The usual smile, usual face that you just canât look away from, usual sparkles and his usual grand entry. Everything was relatively normal, perfect. He wouldnât want things any other way. Though, when he was dripping wet with coffee and Yukina was holding the eyes of everyone around, it was hard to keep a hold on his confidence. I mean how did he end up with him, anyway? The most time he saw Yukina was before they started dating when he stalked him in the bookstore.Â
The first thing he noticed once he was close was the look of worry on his face. âI accidentally spilled our coffee on myself.. Iâm fine, really.â He responded tonelessly. Looking up at the perfect person before him.Â
âHere, take my jacket!âYukina said as the jacket was fully removed, now only wearing his gray sweater.Â
Kisa shook his hands, âNo no.. its fine. You need your jacket.â It was freezing outside, after all. The sweater he was in wasnât enough to keep him warm, and he didnât want to be the reason that the younger one froze to death. It was his fault for spilling the coffee in the first place. âReally, I just need to go to my apartment and change.â
He pushed his hands into his soggy pockets, looking off. Yukina was so nice.. It caused his face to heat up. Though, if he asked heâd probably just blame the cold. âIf you donât mind.â He added quickly, falling into him when someone bumped past to cross the street. If his face was pink before, now it was full on red. He separated himself from Yukina, his heart pounding quickly inside his chest, hammering against his rib cage. âS-sorry.â He stumbled over the word, flustered. They hadnât even been together five minutes and he was already making a fool of himself.Â
And he should expect any less.Â
Upon hearing the cause of events that led his boyfriend to have a moist coat, Yukina felt a wave of guilt hit him. The copper haired male felt as if he went to see Kisa instead, it wouldnât have happened. The person standing before him wouldnât be soaked and they could along their way to their date. Though the guilt was still lingered inside him still at that very moment, the man also felt deeply loved. He couldnât help that Kisa went through all that trouble for him. Most people would take these gestures as just another part of life but for the taller male it meant some much more, when it came from the one you love at least.
Honestly if he had his way, he would have displayed loads of affection towards the older male on the spot just to show his appreciation. Nevertheless, he already knew the black haired male would just yell at him, saying that behaving that way in public was inappropriate, so he decided to hold off on itâŚfor now anyways.
Still holding onto the jacket with his arm, the young maleâs eyes narrowed slightly once hearing the baby faced maleâs rejection. Why couldnât he just depend on him? Yes, sure he would be cold beyond belief, but as long as the love of his life was warm then it was fine. He didnât mind it one bit.âKisa-san, Why wonât you depend on me more!?I really donât mind you wearing the coat. Iâll be fine.âHe responded honestly, which was then followed by one of his trademark smiles as he pushed the coat forward towards him before feeling the male pressed up against his body, due to a bystander passing.
As he felt Kisaâs weight being quickly removed from his, he tilted his head, closing his eyes as he still kept his gorgeous smile in the process.âI donât mind going to your apartment first Kisa-san.â He replied.Being the understanding person that he was, the twenty one year old knew despite giving him his jacket that the other male would be more comfortable with his own apparel rather than his.So he didnât mind the change of plans, even if it would mean less time for them to spend together.
Maneuvering his body to now face the northern side of the street, Yukina now faced the direction to which would head towards Kisaâs residence.âShall we go Kisa-san?â
As soon as Kisa had separated himself with his taller companion, he looked up at him. That smile.. did nothing bother him?? He sighed quietly, almost wishing it did. Yukina was the ideal partner. Never got angry, never yelled, offered his warmth. Another sigh escaped him. "Its not that I don't depend on you, I have a coat! You need to keep yours." He defended, folding his arms. Completely ignoring the fact that even though he had a coat, that it was soaked.Â
âI donât mind going to your apartment first Kisa-san.âÂ
Trying not to shake (or trying not to let him see him shaking more importantly), he directed his gaze to the ground. Oh yeah, the cups. He knelt down and retrieved the mostly empty coffee cups, tossing them in the trash. Then turned back to his boyfriend.Â
Maneuvering his body to now face the northern side of the street, Yukina now faced the direction to which would head towards Kisaâs residence.âShall we go Kisa-san?â
"Ah... yes." He nodded, started the walk towards his apartment. He should apologize, he was putting Yukina out of his way. Tensing when the breeze picked up, the smaller of the two cleared his throat. ".. Yukina? I'm sorry.. I didn't think this would happen.." He began, his voice nervous and almost as shaky as he. "I mean I didn't think we'd have to go all the way back to my apartment.." He corrected himself. It was after all, on the other side of town and the sky was already dimming. Would they still have time to go out? Would Yukina even want too? He didn't want this night to end with his boyfriend cooking for him again. Not that he didn't like his cooking, but it put him out even more then he already was.
He was becoming such a trouble for Yukina.Â

@Yukina
Offering more money to the employee he waited, looking around the coffee shop. Although dimly lit, he had a decent view of the whole room. His eyes caught on a couple. They were sharing their coffee, rather then purchasing two. He tried to imagine him and Yukina doing that. A blush quickly spread over his face. Looking off quickly, Kisa chose it was safer to stare at the floor rather then the customers in the store. A matching pair of coffees were set on the counter, steam leaking through the small hole in the lid. Claiming the drinks, he quickly exited the store.Â
Excitement bloomed in his chest. He was going to see him, finally. He was going to see Yukina. The corners of his lips turned up slightly. The cold seemed easier to face now, knowing heâd be with the man holding his affection soon enough. What were they going to do? He realized it had been a while since he messaged him last, his curiosity getting the better of him. Wedging one of the coffees in between his arm and his chest, he reached into his coat pocket, flipping his phone open. To his surprise he had texted back. He probably hadnât felt the vibration through the jacket - or rather he was so busy in his own head he hadnât noticed it. Either way, he was quick to respond.
To: Yukina
From: Kisa
Subject:Â
And he couldnât think of a response. He stared the screen down, biting his lip. What did he say? He was already on his way there. There was no use in making him come meet him now. He hastily punched in a reply, letting out the sigh heâd been holding.Â
Subject: Iâll be there soon.
Kisa quickly returned the phone to his pocket and the coffee to his now free hand. Walking with two coffees in one hand.. or arm, texting wasnât really the easiest thing heâd done wall day. Plus, he preferred not to knock anyone else down because he wasnât paying attention. Speeding up his pace, he looked ahead, wiping away some snow that had caught on his face with the back of his hand. The smell of his coffee filled his nose. Right, I could drink this. He gladly took a sip, wincing visibly when he burnt his tongue. Or not. A sigh.Â
He crossed a street, his heart speeding up a bit. His store was right ahead. His eagerness growing, the black haired male rushed forward. Repressing the grin that was wedging itself onto his face. Before long a very familiar face could be seen outside the bookstore. Yukina. He would have called out to him if he hadnât spotted the two females he was talking too. Its not like he didnât expect it, no, it just bothered him. Simple as that. Neither of the two werenât easy on the eyes, either. Why did he have such bad taste? He couldnât help but think it to himself. When Yukina could pick from any girl and a handful of men in the city, he chose him. That was something heâd never truly understand.
So distracted by the scene across the street, he hadnât seen the sign change so the traffic could resume and the pedestrians could wait. A sharp tug brought him back to the safety of the side walk. A few things happened then. For one, he had fallen back on the ground. Two, he was now covered in both his and Yukinaâs coffees. The shock of it all caused him to be numb to the pain (or was that the cold?), but soon enough it had caught up with him. âItai!!â He groaned to himself, putting a hand on his stained coat. Then on the ground to push himself up. Now what? The group of people waiting to cross were doing so. Did he go too? As embarrassing as this was? He was so close.. but he didnât want to see him like this. The hot liquid was beginning to cool, chilling him far more then he was before.
A vibration made its way through Yukinaâs cell phone as he quickly picked it up, letting his hues scan through the message completely. His smiled faded slightly before he pressed the reply button, letting his tan fingers do the replying.
To: Kisa-san
From: Yukina Kou
Subject: Ehh!?
Kisa-san! I wouldnât have mind just meeting you! Just tell me where you are and Iâll just meet you there.
Lightly sighing, the young male closed his phone, placing it back into his pants pocket. Even though he was very excited to the point it over flowed him, he still wished Kisa would rely on him more. They were lovers after all. The male knew how stressful and tiring the older of the twoâs job was. He still couldnât believe how they could slide by through labor laws .Being the straight forward person he is, he knew he was going to just flat out bring the topic up at some point, but with their lack of meetings, he never truly had the chance too. Maybe this time he would.
Feeling the snowflakes hit the side of his face; the young male looked up towards the grey colored sky. He was always fond of snow, ever since he was a young boy playing around in it with his older brother and friends.âI wonder if Kisa-san likes snow.â He thought to himself as the earlier thoughts instantly disappeared.
A grinned soon appeared, his eyes closing, following in suit. Yukina didnât know too much about the older male he was seeing but that honestly didnât bother him. He dated his fair share of people, but no one has ever made him this head over heads before. No one had made him try as hard as Kisa did. The more he thought about the other male, the more excited he felt just knowing he was going to see him.
Yukina slipped his hands deep inside his pockets, letting his tan fingers feel the warmness of his pants as he lifted his head from the building. His gaze went from the sky to the streets in his view. He didnât want to miss a moment to when Kisa-san would appear. It wasnât like he was going to anyways but he just couldnât help himself with all the excitement that was filling his body.
As his light chocolate hues continued to look around the city before him, a flock of females in their coats began to starred at the twenty one year old, gazing in admiration at him, though seeing this, he didnât show a hint of a reaction. Not only because he was just so used to this, but because he was too deeply involved in thinking about his lover that he didnât honestly care.âWhere is he?âThe thought ranged through his head as the curiosity began getting the better of him. His hand clamped onto his cell phone before pulling it out, seeing the time. It had been at least ten minutes since he received the last message. The wait was killing him with each and every second that passed by.
Once more he closed his phone, reverting his eyes back to the streets. His eyes scanned through the many people that appeared before him until his hues began to widen. Yukina blinked a few times seeing if his vision was correct before finally realizing that through the crowds of people was the person he was waiting for. His grin began to grow rapidly as he began running down the street towards the corner.âKi-sa san!âYukina called out loudly towards the baby faced male. Passing bystanders quickly took notice towards this but the young male just couldnât help himself. He hadnât seen the older male in such a long time; it was only in his nature to do this.
The stop light turned to a brightly lit walk sign as he dashed across the street, waving his right hand proudly while crossing. He smiled brightly, like the summer sun. His body, just sparkling as he finally met faced to face with his boyfriend.âKisa-san I missed you!âThe copper haired male said proudly looking at the love of his life before noticing the moisture of his coat.âHey, Kisa-san! What happen!? Youâre all soaked!?â He said, with an extreme amount of concerned.âWhat could have happened to Kisa-san?!âHe asked himself with worry. Seeing his boyfriend like this bothered him. The last thing he wanted was to have anything bad happen to Kisa.
Feelings of worriment filled the pierced maleâs body as his smile faded into a concerned look. He starred at the shorter male before quickly taking off his forest green colored jacket.âHere, take my jacket!âYukina said as the jacket was fully removed, now only wearing his gray sweater. He now placed the jacket in his right arm before extending it towards the black haired male, still filled with concerned.Â
Kisa felt his pocket vibrate. He sighed, yanking it from his pocket to see what he said. His heart felt a little heavy. Even if he could have met him somewhere, he didn't want to bother him with coming to find him. That's how they usually got to see each other -Yukina going out of his way to see him.
