reikokuna:
ONCE AGAIN.
Another place, another need to gather his bearings. A glimpse at his supposed home, and he’s already off to somewhere else, lingering in the shadows and memorizing the streets and signs as he passes. The cherry blossoms that seem to fall in a never-ending rain near his house leave a minor bad taste in his mouth, and he is nothing if not a bit grateful to walk into the ward next door.
Here, wasn’t it. He is subtle but ruthless in his grab for information, and puts the pieces together to learn exactly what he must as he flits back and forth. There is no attempt to admire the scenery, neither the soft taste of salt on the breeze or the rippling oceans offering anything to appeal to him. All he cares about is finding that one individual, one in a sea of real and fake.
And so he finds her. Back turned, gaze somewhere else, as if there’s something in the distance on her mind. But it is her, there is no doubt about it. He watches for only a moment, relief taking hold, before slowly approaching. Not moving into her field of vision, he instead opts to silently step to the side of the table, back straight and gaze unwavering as he gently clears his throat.
“…Kishinami.”
It is soft, but firm. He’d rather not startle her.

It shouldn’t have come as a surprise that Julius was also in this city. Not when she had met so many others from the Moon Cell here - including his brother ( who he never truly strayed far from ), BB ( who she really hoped had not met with the assassin ) and various Servants too.
But it was, and it showed.
Hakuno knew that she wasn’t cool and composed like a Master should be, able to face any challenge or situation with a hardened resolve in order to secure victory - but at the same time, she wasn’t one to blubber either ( not unless she was hurting bad and thankfully, he wasn’t exactly being deleted right now ). So instead of bursting into tears at the sight of one whose deletion had greatly affected her, both in the Far Side and during the War itself, she was left to deliberate with a series of conflicting emotions that she tried to keep concealed as she swallowed the last of a crepe she had purchased.
Of course, he had found her eating at a diner. Of course.
❝ Julius. ❞ It really was nice to see him, especially now that they weren’t fighting and he wasn’t corrupted, on the path to deletion one way or the other. But it also made her chest clench - guilt, she supposed. That was becoming a regular occurrence with all the familiar faces showing up. Those faces that had been deleted because of her selfish wish to survive.
