I'm hearing rumors about EoW Zelda being a silent protagonist, and that kind of makes sense from all of the trailers. I do think it's a bit of a missed opportunity, though. Idk if it's just me, but I don't see the point in switching out or usual silent protagonist for an established character that we normally speak with only to silence her. I don't think it helps how the art style isn't exactly expressive, so it's not like her character will shine through that either.

I'm still excited for the game, and a silent protagonist doesn't completely make or break the game. I just mourn for the missed opportunity.

Okay but this announcement made me so happy I almost cried I love the Mario and Luigi series so much and I thought it was dead BUT THEY LIVED AND THEY LOOK SO CUTE IN THIS 3D STYLE

It's such bad design and tedious, maybe they can fix it before then with a more practical system but idk
