Widomauk is probably my favorite what could have been ships because I honestly believe they would’ve made a great couple. I’ve only watched the animated series but the little moments they’ve had so far are sweet like Molly comforting Caleb by saying that a new day gives you the opportunity to be a new and better person, which I think influenced Caleb in the later episodes. Also, I think how both of them handle their pasts make their dynamic very interesting. For most of S1, Caleb is literally and figuratively running away from his past then later decides to confront it. Molly’s storyline is pretty similar where he doesn’t remember his past and doesn’t try to find out until he meets Cree and his powers are unleashed. I see both of them as similar enough to connect yet different in ways so they help each other grow and make their relationship interesting. Even though I’ve only watched the animated series, the only reason why I know they aren’t endgame is because I learned that Shadowgast is canon. I really like both ships, though Widomauk still holds my heart.
