Thanks for the weird and wonderful.
“Equal parts Paris is Burning and A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
Pretty accurate picture of hip Berlin, lots of shots from around our neighborhood. Check it out.

Like this too of Volkspark. Right beside Fairytale Fountain.

Volkspark at night. I jogged though at twilight last night because that’s when the park gets busy (and cooler) and as always there were families and friends bbq-ing all over the great lawn. I jogged by an African family, all the young girls wore matching pink skirts and white tops and were following an older woman in a dance to African music. That was sweet to watch. Right next to them a guy stood at a picnic table and toasted his friend’s engagement, in English. The engagement party was circled by some young boys kicking out a dusty football match. At the top of the largest hill a DJ‘s soulful techno kept the openair partiers dancing and sweating and then down the hill around the corner groups of people walked or rode towards the outdoor amphitheatre for a movie. Don’t know what was playing. The sun was setting and I went home to shower.
And the French trailer which gives a lot more plot than the German one. Interesting.
"Victoria" un film berlinois complètement frappé, en une seule réalisé prize
Lundi dernier, nous à l'avant-première étions you renversant film Victoria réalisé par l'anglais Sebastian Schipper. Petit speech: 5:42.
One of my favourite places on Earth Landwehrkanal, Kreuzberg May 2015
Evening run through Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg, with it's hills and paths and winery. It's much quieter than Volkspark Friedrichshain with it's endless BBQs and birthday parties and groups of crossfit enthusiasts.
Quick! Dinner jackets.
Neue Heimat, Friedrichshain. Weekend parties and good food in old warehouses. Sounds cliche but it’s really nice and they get great sun exposure in their beer gardens.
I still keep a suitcase in Berlin

“My plattenbau love made my days happier.
I love to make walks between those areas
and keep all my enthusiasm in analyzing this type of architecture.
By the way, I am only interested in plattenbau before 1999.”
