he comes home to find you’ve had a rough day so he runs you a bath

but because our boy has a flair for the dramatics, he’d make sure to include flower petals, or bath bomb, or bath salts (whatever your fave is tbh)

and he’d know just how you like the temperature 😌

and once you’re in the bath, he’d kneel besides the tub stroking your hair back while you tell him what has you so upset

I’m picturing long haired Michael, shirtless with his hair pulled back into a bun, a few loose strands of hair framing his face

Everything blows away, in the end, the leaves that fell, the snow when Spring winds return, the ashes of us, on some stiff Eastern breeze, when rest comes, finally.  

All things to pass, eventually, and in between the kick start and fluttering off, life, or what we make of it.

Somewhere, in the middle of the timeline, we are here, shouting against the storm that builds on the horizon distant, daring them to disturb our hair.

If we run into it, hand in hand, fast enough, maybe, for a moment, we can be young together again.
