"It's accurate though. No? Color me surprised. Yes, come right in, just make yourself at home, I suppose."

"Well, the name sounds familiar to me, though I’m not sure why. I’ve never been anywhere with that name." Suddenly, pictures flash through her head. A sign with the name ‘The Rose and Crown’. The inside of the place. Herself holding a tray of drinks. A moment later the pictures leave her head. Though unfortunately, they give no clue to the pub’s location. But they leave Clara with a surprised expression on her face.
The woman’s next words startle Clara out of her surprise. “Sorry, uh…sorry." She lamely remarks before replying to the woman’s words. “Well, you think about it and tell me if you figure it out."
"Peculiar. Have you got family around here, because I think that's where I remember you from. Perhaps you know it as something else?" she asked, brow slightly furrowed.
Giving her a polite smile and a shrug, she began to speak again. "Well, maybe I'm just making things up. My memory isn't exactly great."
Amy laughed. “Okay. That’s fair. I can help you look if you like. I’m Amy, Amy Pond."
"The pleasure's mine, Miss. Pond." she grinned. "He big, and a bit scruffy, and he's got a blue collar- the dog, that is."

"It’s a supernatural thriller, but I’m still working on it," he looked to the script beside him. He sighed, “Sorry to hear that, ma’am." Ed looked around them again, seeing that the bar was still empty.Â
"Really? That sounds very interesting." she nodded, offering a small smile. She shrugged at his reply. "Suppose some plans fall through, nothing to get too worked up about." Esme nodded.
“‘Fraid not. I’ll keep a look out though. Why…exactly are you looking for a big yellow dog?"
"Well, because I lost it, and I don't think my boss would like to hear that."

"Mostly just to get away from everyone else. I was working on my script before, but," he shrugged. “Thought having a few drinks would be better tonight. And yourself?"
Oh, what kind of script are you working on then?" she asked. "I was supposed to meet someone here, about and hour ago, but something tells me he's not showing up." she said with a slight laugh.

"The Rose and Crown?" The name sounded somewhat familiar to Clara, though she couldn’t say from where. “Sounds like the name of a pub."
"And yes, I am from around here. Though I don’t believe we’ve met before." Unless you somehow met another version of me, Clara thinks. “Maybe I just have one of those familiar looking faces."
"A pub it is. I'm supposed to meet a friend there later, thought it'd be good to find it before hand."
"Peculiar." she spoke, her brow slightly furrowed. "Maybe so, but Ill be thinking of where I could have seen you."
"Yes."
"What is it?"
"Well, that's why I'm looking for it, we don't know what it is, only that it's not a crow or anything like that."

It was always strange to see a woman in a bar alone past 10. He gave her a faint smile, setting his glass down on the bar. “Name’s Ed," he introduced himself, while rubbing his eyes. He surely wasn’t himself tonight. At least, he would have normally said his full name.Â
"Esme, it's a pleasure." she offered with a polite grin. Reaching to the glass before her, she took a small sip, not entirely accustomed to the taste yet, and resisting the urge to wrinkle her nose. "So, what brings you here this evening, Ed?"
"It’s just the Doctor- well, usually it is. Sometimes go under other names too. Wait? Ah, alright then, if it wouldn’t be too much trouble."
"So you're him then? The traveling man? Lovely. Not too much a trouble at all, only if you'd like to though."
River grinned, relishing in the game of titles that she liked to play. She raised an eyebrow, regarding the girl with feigned curiosity as she asked, “You’re acquainted with madame Vastra, am I right?"Â
Esme slowly nodded. "Oh dear, have we met before, and I managed to forget?"
"I believe I saw one running about… how big exactly?"
"Er, I don't know exactly, Â but when he was on his hind legs, he was around the same height as me."

Edward sat in the bar, almost falling asleep. He stuck his lit cigarette into his mouth, sucking on the chemicals inside. After a moment, he put it out in the ashtray, and looked across the bar. He noticed a woman sitting by herself at the end of the bar. Picking up his whiskey he headed off and sat down next to her. “Do you mind if I sit here?"
Truthfully, Esme wouldn't usually be found in a place such as this. But due to circumstances that even she didn't understand, she found herself sitting at a bar, a drink before her. She looked over her shoulder, noting the absence of the man she was due to meet, and she softly bit down on her lip. She quickly turned at the sound of a voice, giving a brief shake. "Not at all, sir."
"You might have heard of me" River replied with a cryptic smile.Â
"And why's that? What would you be known for?"
"A crow?"
".. I suppose it does look a bit like a crow. Huh."

"Nice to meet you, Esme. I’m Clara."
"That'd be lovely. Do you know how to get to The Rose & Crown from here?"
"Pleasure's mine. You from around here, you look awful familiar?"
