Thinking about Stewart island in New Zealand - what a wonderful place! One of the things that keeps me sane in this difficult time is my travel memories. This is one of those - Hooker Valley hiking track in New Zealand, with the stunning views of Mt. Cook. The snow on Mt. Cook’s peak had a slight tint of orange because of Australian bush fire... I read about this fact before but it still felt so strange to see it with my own eyes. Like many other people I had to change my travel plans... I actually decided not to have any plans for now, just not to get disappointed. And it feels so strange - on top of all other strange and scary things that are happening everywhere in the world.
