Precious stones are a product of Alchemy and transfiguration. When the raw material of the earth transforms in the womb of mother nature, it turns into diamonds, emeralds and Rubys etc. These stones are symbolic, they represent ability of the heart to transform and transfigure matter. The secret of the Philosopher's stone is in the heart. A pure heart is capable of creating the Philosopher's stone, while an impure one inevitably fails in the alchemical process.
One might have noticed, when a man proposes a woman, he gives her an engagement ring embedded with a precious stone. He slips it into her fourth finger. This finger believed to be the beginning of the vena amoris ("vein of love") by the Romans, is the vein that leads to the heart. In Accupressure, the meridian of the heart also runs through this finger. So this truth was known in both the East and the West throughout the Biblical times and later. It was only lost as humanity became more materialistic. The practice of gifting engagement ring is actually based on esoteric science. Today humanity has forgotten the deeper esoteric truths due to it's materialistic inclination. It's unfortunate people today resort to all sorts of outward physical acts and rituals without comprehending anything about the inner process associated with them.
Every man gives engagement ring to their beloved today, yet despite such grandiose proposals and million dollar rings, we have increasing number of divorce and relationship conflict. Families are being torn apart, children are being seperated, couples who loved one another are cheating on each other. All this despite expensive engagement rings, and Elite wedding ceremonies.
Couples today would do better if they realised just giving engagement and wedding ring isn't enough to secure a marriage. Instead of putting all their faith and trust on a material object, they must understand the symbology of engagement rings. A ring cannot replace love, it can only symbolise it. If there's no love within one's heart, no jewel can replace that love, no money can fulfill it. Love cannot be bought. Any jewel in the engagement ring can only represent something symbolic. A diamond engagement or wedding ring symbolises a pure heart. When the heart becomes pure, it shines like a jewel. When two hearts that are pure unite together, a bond is created which is symbolised by an engagement ring or wedding ring which is put in the ring finger.
So instead of wasting a fortune after rings, and believing the ring will ensure an everlasting married life, couples would do better if they focus on purifying their hearts. Make it so pure that the light of the holy spirit shines through their heart like a precious jewel. When the chakras and the aura shines like a precious jewel an initiate can then become like a prism, assimilating the light of the holy spirit into rainbow like colours representing Purity, Beauty and Truth. When couples become that pure, their relationship will last forever till the eternity to come.
The words of brother Mikhael are true:
"Once upon a time, in ancient China, there lived a sage whose wife kept tormenting him with her grievances: ‘What have you ever earned with your thoughts? We have barely enough to live on and my youth is being wasted on household worries. I want to have beautiful clothes and jewels and enjoy myself like other women of my age.’ The sage was so tired of her endless nagging that he finally said to her, ‘Well, if you can find a man with whom you think you can be happier, leave me. I will not hold you back.’ And eventually, she did just that.
Then, one day, the old emperor died without an heir, and after searching throughout the land for a worthy successor, the ministers discovered the sage and chose him to be the new emperor. When his wife heard about it, she went to see him and said, ‘I understand now how foolish and shallow I was not to have appreciated all your qualities. But I was young. Forgive me. I want to be your wife again.’ Calmly, and without a word of reproach, the emperor turned to a servant and said, ‘Bring me a goblet of the most precious liquor.’ Then, taking the goblet, he poured the liquor out on the ground and said to his wife, ‘Gather up this liquor and if it is still as pure as before, I will take you back.’ And his wife wept because she knew that this was not possible."
