He asked me who I was.
I answered, âIâm a writerâ.
âSo what do you do for a living?â, he challenged.
âI donât.â, I casually responded.
He looked confused.
I chose to settle his confusion, âI donât do anything for the mere purpose of staying aliveâ

a word to those people who consider themselves âanti-loveâ.
lovely.
but... the more you talk about how against love you are, the more it sounds like youâre craving it. the more it sounds like youâre unhappy.
i can only say that bc iâve been there. i was younger and angrier and lashed out at the things i couldnât understand.
maybe being anti-love is not a problem at all, as long as you still got love for yourself.
one more week on the east coast.

people keep hinting towards the fact that iâm too emotional.. that iâm too âeasily annoyedâ.. that perhaps the ârightâ way to be is unaffected, devoid of emotions, easygoing, always laughing. i canât reduce myself to such a stale way of being. iâm moody. iâm mercurial. itâs what makes me who i am and itâs what makes me a musician, an artist/ i could only see myself being so cavalier if i didnât care any about my art. but for something that iâm so passionate about, i will always remain emotional. i will always remain affected. i guess it's something you can't really explain to anyone. either they feel it or they don't. either they understand you or they don't. no point in trying to paint a picture for the blind.. i take this shit very seriously because itâs all that i really have in this world. friendships, romance, adventure, self-indulgence, all of these things are material and can fade away in an instant. my art is the only fire that keeps burning and can never be put out i will ALWAYS keep my emotions on, because the moment i turn them off is the moment iâm dead. itâs the moment iâm no longer interesting. itâs the moment i no longer have anything to write about.
