ACHY GASPS FOR BREATH-– Elena found herself cradled in the corner of the room, back flush against the plastered wall as she gazed around the unfamiliar environment. Glassy eyes searched for familiarity, but with no luck, Elena found herself panicking, traumatized by the environment that cursed her mind, caused her agonizing worries, knowing she had left her family behind. Everything in her mind was questioned, knowing her life with Damon was no longer the fairy tale she imagined. They had fought, and as consequence, she had fled from their family home, and spent a few weeks elsewhere. However, upon returning home, she had been somewhat teleported to this unfamiliar environment. It was not easy, to admit that her and Damon were having troubles, especially when they had fought hard to be together in the first place. She loved him, deeply, but at the moment, that just wasn’t enough for either of them. Damon had wanted his vampirism back, and Elena had been extremely upset by it. They had worked hard to be human, and he wanted to throw this away. Though, deep down, Elena held guilt upon being human, and wished to transition to help her friends. She felt guilty, knowing she had left her friends to deal with supernatural issues whilst she lived a safe human life. It wasn’t fair, in fact, it was selfish.
As shaky hands moved away from her eyes, glassy hues set upon the figure, darkened by the lack of light in the room. Gasping slightly, Elena hurried to her feet, standing a good distance, at least, until she realised who it was.
