Aspiring Artist

Hello! It's a real pleasure to meet you! My name is Esther Ross. I'm hoping to become an animator like my dad, and I dream of working for Disney! Right now all I can to is draw and sketch, since I don't have the stuff to animate... but maybe one day I'll get lucky! My father is Henry. He used to work with Joey Drew. He had to leave 30 years ago to fight in the war... and unfortunately he got injured so badly he had to come home. Since then, he's needed a cane to walk and can't stand for too long. Anyway, we got a letter recently from Mister Joey. He asked Papa to come but he can't, so he's sending me instead! I've never met Mister Drew before, I'm really excited! if you got any questions for me, I'd be happy to answer!

Did you have a favorite cartoon character from your father’s company, growing up?

"Of course! Bendy was definitely my favorite, but ol Boris was a close second. Bendy was so mischievous and funny, and Boris was just goofy and adorable! It's... it's a bit surreal standing in the studio where those characters were brought to life... and extremely heartbreaking to see Boris all pinned down and hacked open like some science experiment. I don't know who did that or why, and frankly, I don't care. It's tasteless. I'm starting to think that Mr. Drew isn't here. I mean... I can't imagine he'd just let something like that lay around his studio... right?"

What are Esther’s fav colors, or aesthetics?

"Oh gracious... well, let's see... I really like soft pinks and pearl whites. I've always loved pearls and roses. See, my father brings home roses for my mother all the time, and she wears a pearl necklace that he gave her before he went off to war. She told me that she intends to pass it down to me some day."

Esther carefully began to explore the old studio, still keeping an ear out for the door, for a sign of life, for anything. In her search, she discovered multiple Bendy cut outs, her father's old desk, a massive machine, and a body. The body of Boris, his chest torn open, ribs protruding and eyes blank with only cartoonish X's for pupils. She nearly got sick. "Oh my god. Oh my god... what is this place? What is this hell?"

Going Farther

“I’ve been in here for hours, and no one has shown up! I did a little exploring… but I dont want to wander too far.”

Esther went back to the exit, hoping to just wait outside… but the door was now locked. She twisted and jiggled the knob in a panic, beginning to bang on the door and call out. But the door was firmly shut.

“Oh god, oh no…. alright, it’s okay. Just breathe. Mom and Dad will notice eventually… just stay calm.”

Kiss : What’s the sweetest thing someone has done for you?

MOD:….. i wish he was here to answer this one…. guess ill answer for him. Kinda went along with the “Best friend” one we got a little bit ago. He was sorta saved by his um… bestie. there was an accident… he doesnt like people going into it without him telling the story. 

Its kinda whay you dont SEE the studio around in his pictures… he likes to stand in front of a blank wall. 

AS FOR ME …. sweetest thing anyones done for me was give me the time of day to geek outwith them and invite me to Tumblr. Encouraging me to keep up the pages (all 8 of them) and helping me keep up on my art.

Exploring

"Hoo boy... this place does not look safe at all. Maybe I should go home... No. No, I promised Dad I'd see Mr. Drew. Esther Ross is nothing if not a lady of her word." The girl carefully makes her way through the door and into the studio. The air is stuffy, dusty, and smells of something familiar... what that is, she can't quite tell. "Hellooo? Is there anyone here? Mister Drew?"
