Roman cocked his head to the side, the angle causing his fringe to fall away from emerald eyes, revealing an inquisitive quirk of the eyebrow. How could the General not see what he was? Hero to Atlas, host to technical advancements that the world daren’t even dream of. ‘course, they knew not what Roman had uncovered. “Y’say that, but you’re a walkin’ miracle. Dunno if you’ve noticed, General, but I’m a dab hand with technology; your various… advancements don’t bother me, in fact I’ve become rather fond of the idea.” His hands remained happily in James’s, fingers reaching out to interlace with the other man’s, giving those hands a gentle squeeze in what may have even been reassurance. He had the ability to be quite sweet, who knew.

James had a big ego, he can’t lie. Attention was important to him and especially it was attention towards only him. However, this kind of attention towards his cybernetics made him nervous. He despised them and was incredibly self conscious about it all. He looked to his hand once Roman laced their fingers together and let his fingers wrap around Roman’s hand slowly.

“.. Not many people know about this... And the fact that you found out.. makes me nervous either way.. However, I appreciate your compliments. Truly I do,” he replied and kept his eyes to the hands. He didn’t want to look to Roman, in fear of him noticing his nervous attitude at the moment.
