Is patreon like a paypal?? Or is it likesomething completely different?? I couldn't wrap my head around it :/
Patreon is like donating a monthly amount to support an artist you enjoy continuously... you can stop and start supporting an artist whenever you want as it’s there job to continue working and doing the work you want to see from them :) since it’s continuous you don’t need to give a lot of money. Even just a couple of bucks a month can really add up as more people do it. Every little bit helps
it’s one of the more reliable ways for artists and other creative individuals to support themselves or at least put a dent in the bills and expenses they have so they can focus more on what they want to do.
Discussion Time, Kids
First and foremost, I want to thank you all for following me for the past year and being such an awesome fan base for this pink marshmallow horse. Now I have been told by friends and my husband that I should consider a patreon. But the question is: Would you guys support it? I mean, if half of you (1,207 followers, wow thanks again, you guys!!) donated 1$ to it, I could my get my computer next month, but it would also allow me to draw more often for fun and not feel like a burden to you guys with my constant need for help. Not to mention all the behind he scene stuff you guys will get to witness with Mashu and the gang! So, should I consider the patreon or is it just a pipe dream? It could help me with a small amount of monthly income and it also means less stress/depression for my husband and I.
Should I? Would you guys help me out?
every bit of help sent to my wife is helping me as well, paying bill and buying food make it hard save up for larger purchases and if her laptop dies before the money comes in well... it’s going to make things very awkward. can;t force anything but if you’d be willing to consider helping if one got set up send me or mina a pm. Future Content
Okay, I’ve looked and couldn’t help but notice that most of the last chunk of posts have all been commission advertisement... so I will do my best to add some proper content to the blog...
Now as you know, I am in the process of transfering all of the chance and spirit posts to a secondary archive blog. this blog will likely turn into a traditional mod blog and thus the content will be of all manner of things... I will do my best to keep it organized but you can expect written content (fanfiction and original work) and audio content on a varity of topics... will there still be ponies? possibly. I do still occationally do pony playground posts and I likely will be putting up information/narrative on Heartfelt Wishes adventure... and who knows maybe something else will strike my fancy...
Basically the long and short of it is, this blog will now be transitioning to general content and not exclusively Chance and Spirit. For those who are only here for the father daughter combo head over to the archive (which is still in the process of being filled up, I’ll be making a later post when it’s entirely up to date.
I hope you’ll stick with me in this new stage and if not thank you for all your support until now :)

Hello everyone. I am the mod of askmashumaro, I am cowbellchaos. I am currently trying to save up for a new computer. Not just a computer, but the monitor, the mouse and the keyboard too. I am trying to raise the 650$ USD to get my PC built for me, so I have been offering commissions and will be posting up more adoptables for purchase. I can not lower prices on any of them due to the fact that every penny goes straight to a new pc. My laptop is 7 years old and the hard drive update was only supposed to last a year, year and a half tops. We had hopes we’d have the money to build me a new computer, sadly we did not due to bills, our Boo’s health issues that have been on and off for a few months and the fact I recently got married. OKAY.. THIS IS F***ED UP
My laptop’s hard drive was replaced a year ago, but now my laptop is already on it’s last leg. It gave me the blue screen of death two days ago before I streamed and kept screwing up during my stream. I know you guys are probably tired of me posting stuff, but I could really use some help. I’m trying to raise $650 dollars to build myself a tower PC to replace my laptop. Money is really tight right now, I just got married and bills are top priority right nowadays. I’m not begging for handouts (but donations are appreciated) from you guys. I’m taking commissions right now to help build up that new pc, get the keyboard, mouse and monitor too. Please guys, if I can’t get this new PC… Then I can no longer make comics or art period. I could REALLY REALLY use the help. I want to build it as soon as possible before my laptop just croaks during a stream and royally screws me over. Reblogs and donations and that will really help too. Really.. Need.. Help.. I haven’t posted anything of my own art in a few days since the only commission I got.. I am afraid my laptop is closer to dead.. It keeps roaring like it’s fighting to work at its best efforts but.. Yeah. So now I must say I need help, donations are appreciated and now I’ll only be drawing when/if I get commissions. I will no longer stream unless its private for commissioners and I’m basically only going to update with commissions until I can get a new PC. Please help me out. Bringing this up again as it’s getting a bit rough. If anyone is able to donate or go for a commission it would really help my wife as well as me. Well what do you know… I did a thing. Even I transition into new things you can still be inspired once and a while :) This concept came up when I was chatting with DegamaMod and it became to amusing to not record… took a fair bit of difficulty as I haven’t used my recording software and such for nearly a year. But eventually got something.

I’m in the weirdest mood, I’ve been slowly archiving this blog and in the process stumbled upon my old notes for the the former tie-in fanfiction to this blog... and then I started writing again. After two years away I finished Chapter 3, the intro arc is done and the writing is still flowing so feel free to check it out and see the story that inspired Ask Chance Meeting to begin with!

I’m in the process of archiving all of the post into a secondary blog and it’s been quite the nostalgia trip going back and seeing the whole journey it’s taken to get to this point… the good and bad. It’s also VERY time consuming. so this blog will remain as is until the archive is done. I still may do a final wrap up post as well but we’ll see…

As for what this blog will turn into after the fact well it’s will become a normal tumblr, but you can still expect audio posts and skits… they just won;t be pony related (likely). Hoping to finally make that illusive transition to more original works, with several ideas possible right now. we shall see…
