years late to reading oleander by scarlett drake but oh my god under no conditions should anybody read it unless you hate yourself and being happy. which i apparently do.

ive left oomf a wonderful series of messages of me getting thru the last 30% which i think are hilarious

i was kind of nervous to read it because obviously i read a bunch of the one star reviews first, and then the CWs. i almost didn’t read it and then i remembered im a captive prince fan and decided it couldn’t be that bad (esp considering oleander has way more good reviews than bad. the bad reviews were just… BAD. which was reasonably frightening. but having finished it, i dont think they rly understood the book at all so… but to each their own.)

anyway, it’s 3 am and i have a 9 am lecture today. im wide awake, of course, but i suppose i have to at least try to sleep.
