is it actually THAT difficult to have a conversation with me. like genuinely i’ve had one conversation all day, the rest of the day i’ve just been waiting for a reply from literally anyone. i don’t know why everyone ignores me like surely i had to have done something wrong, but what?
when you drunk message ex!chloe. (written fic after images)
part one
it started with the breakup. you hadn’t been sleeping. everything felt heavy. you were barely doing anything anymore. you didn’t want that though. you wanted to get out of the house again. you wanted to actually do things again. without thinking about how sad you were, and how much you missed chloe. that’s how you ended up drunk texting her.
you could’ve easily gotten out the house by just going on morning walks, or going out to get a snack. but no. you decided that a night out was what you needed. and you know what? you might’ve took it a little too far. gotten a little too drunk. you lost track of how long ago your friends had left without you. you told them that you weren’t ready to leave yet. and that’s what led to you alone. messaging her.
it was like the alcohol hit you all at once. one minute you felt completely fine, and the next minute you felt like you were about to cry. you couldn’t stop thinking about chloe. you needed her. you needed to go home. it suddenly hit that you were on your own. no way to get home. no one there with you in case something bad happened. and you were drunk out of your mind.
she was the only person you could message. well.. you could have messaged a friend, but it wasn’t the same. you’d still have the empty feeling in your heart, and you’d still wake up hurting. possibly even worse than before. during the night, your friends had tried comforting you, tried keeping her off your mind, but it was no use. you babbled to them about how you missed her. asked if you should call her. you even said you were about to call her, but they soon shut that idea down, taking your phone from you for the moment.
it didn’t prevent you contacting her in the long run though. and maybe that wasn’t a bad thing.
as chloe waited outside, she couldn’t stop thinking about what you’d said. you missed her? she didn’t know if you’d said that just because you were drunk, or if you truly meant it.
when she saw your name pop up on her screen for the first time in months, her heart dropped. she wasn’t sleeping like she had told you she was, she just wanted to come across more distant and reserved. she wanted you to think that none of this bothered her. that she wasn’t still hurt. that she didn’t still miss you. that she didn’t still think about you all the time no matter what she was doing.
she couldn’t sleep much anymore because of how badly she missed feeling your body pressed up against hers as you slept. she missed being able to feel the rise and fall of your chest. your slow calm breaths, little snores, quiet groans as you shuffled ever so slightly closer to her. she missed everything about you.
she missed your gentle touch, your soft voice and sweet words when she was sad. the way you’d immediately go to her when you had any sort of news.
she often wondered what went wrong between you both. you were both so in love with each other, how did that change? when did that change? why? did you feel the same way?
before she could get too in her head, she got out of her truck and waited leaning against the passenger side door ready for when you came outside. it wasn’t long before chloe saw you wandering towards her. she pushed herself off the side of her truck and headed in your direction.
when she was close enough, she didn’t say anything, just placed her hand on your lower back and guided you towards the truck. you didn’t speak either. just looked down at the ground. she opened the door for you and made sure you were visibly okay before shutting the door behind you.
neither of you spoke until she was driving.
“m’sorry chloe” you mumbled.
“don’t be. here, drink this.”
she was a little mad at you still, especially since you were the one who suggested going no contact. she never wanted that, but just had to agree since it was apparently ‘what you wanted’. she knew you couldn’t help it though. not when you were like this. she couldn’t stay mad when you were in this state. barely conscious. potentially out on your own? and apologising to her.
she handed you a bottle of cold water. you shook your head and groaned as she glanced over at you.
“drink it. it’s just water, cmon.”
“i don’t want it.” you whispered, refusing to look at her. your words were slightly jumbled together from the alcohol.
she sighed. you’d always been stubborn. she knew you couldn’t resist her though, even if you were broken up.
“for me? just a little.”
that was enough for you to slowly take the bottle from her, taking a few sips before setting it down on your lap. you leaned over and rested your head on the window, eyes closing, just listening to the noise of the car. you were happy that chloe had picked you up. just knowing she was next to you healed something inside you. you didn’t think it was possible to miss someone this much until after you and chloe had broken up.
you could feel her glancing at you every so often. you couldn’t help but glance back a couple times.
you didn’t know when, but during the journey you must’ve fallen asleep. you woke up to quiet music playing, unlike chloe’s usual taste in music. your eyes still felt heavy when she pulled up at your place. you groaned. nausea.
“thanks, chloe.”
“wait..”
you froze for a second and then hummed in response, looking over at her.
“were you.. out on your own?”
“was with friends, but they wanted to leave before i was ready so i just stayed.”
chloe sighed and nodded.
“okay.” she whispered.
chloe watched as you then stumbled out of the truck and slowly towards your place. she grew more and more worried the further you walked. eventually, she sighed, got out of her truck, and quickly walked towards you. again, she wrapped one of her arms around your waist, and steadily walked you towards your place. she was originally just going to wait in her truck until she’d seen you were safely inside, then leave. but you looked way too unsteady. there was no way you’d be able to safely make it inside, and then get yourself ready for bed, let alone prepare for the hangover you’d have tomorrow, all alone.
part of her didn’t want to do this. mainly because she knew that after this, you’d be back to no contact again. but part of her had to. she’d seen you drunk before, but never in this state. she knew you wouldn’t be able to take care of yourself. you needed someone there. and yes, she could easily call one of your friends, but she needed to know that you’d be okay. she needed to see it for herself.
as you both stepped inside, she sat you down on the sofa, and kneeled in front of you. she carefully began taking your shoes off. you’d still barely spoken to each other at this point. you were slumped against the sofa with your eyes closed when chloe glanced up at you. she wanted to ask. why did you message her? of all people, why her? she wasn’t mad, or upset, just confused. she knew she wouldn’t get a direct answer from you. not when you were this out of it. but she couldn’t help herself.
once your shoes were off and put away, she sat beside you on the sofa. you slowly opened your eyes, squinting from the light, before turning your head to look at her.
“you okay?” she quietly asked.
you nodded. “i miss you, chloe.”
“is that why you called me? instead of anyone else..?”
again, you nodded.
“do you actually mean that? or are you just too out of it to realise what you’re saying?”
“i mean it.” you groaned.
she still didn’t believe you. she sighed and stood up, reaching her hands out towards you, signalling for you to stand up with her help.
“up. cmon.”
you took her hands, letting her guide you towards your bedroom first. as you stumbled towards your bed, ready to collapse and finally go to sleep, she spoke.
“you don’t feel sick or anything do you?”
“a bit.” you spoke into your pillows.
she nodded as if she was taking a mental note, and then you heard her rummaging around. you were too tired to check what she was doing, and most definitely too drunk. however, she soon returned, telling you to sit up. you shook your head, mumbling something about how you were ‘asleep’. she asked again, this time slightly pushing you, earning a groan, but you did actually get up.
your eyes were still closed, but not for long. they shot open when you felt something cold swipe across your face. you flinched your head away, trying to see what just touched your face.
“relax. i’m just wiping your makeup off. you can’t sleep in it, remember?”
you didn’t answer. just leaned closer to her and let her continue what she was doing. it actually felt a little refreshing. and comforting too. the fact that chloe actually remembered to take your makeup off, and get you ready for bed. when she was done, she urged you to shuffle to the edge of your bed, and you hesitantly did so. as you heard her moving around your room again, you closed your eyes and laid back. and soon enough, she was back and asking you to sit up again. she took your hands in hers to help you up yet again.
“do you need help changing? i mean.. stupid question. you can barely stand on your own. you’re barely even awake right now. can i help you? is that okay?”
“mhm. into my pyjamas? m’tired.”
“yes into your pyjamas. you can sleep soon. just need to get your pyjamas on and brush your teeth. i’m sure you’d like to wash your face too but i don’t think that’d really go all that well right now.”
she carefully took your top off, along with your bra. she quickly slipped a baggy t-shirt over your head, before moving to your bottoms.
“can you stand up for me for a second? i’ll help you up, just hold onto my shoulders while i put your pyjama pants on, okay?”
you nodded and held onto her as she took off your previous bottoms, and changed them for your pyjamas.
“so much comfier.” you mumbled with a small smile, still leaning against her.
chloe quietly laughed to herself, before slowly guiding you towards the bathroom. she put the toothpaste on your toothbrush for you, then handed it to you. you said something about how you were too tired, but chloe argued back that she wasn’t doing everything for you, which was enough for you to brush your teeth. were you doing a good job at it? most definitely not. but at least you were doing it, right? she also managed to quickly wipe your face with a damp washcloth, just to freshen you up a little.
when it was finally time for you to sleep, chloe helped you into bed, covered you with your blankets, and even placed the bin next to your bed just in case you needed to throw up at any point. she remembered you’d previously mentioned feeling a little sick. just as she was leaving to get you some water, she heard your voice again. quieter this time. like you were almost asleep.
“chloe?”
she turned around and crouched beside the bed. her face was almost level with yours. she gently ran her fingers through your hair, combing it away from your face. she knew she probably shouldn’t, but it was habit. it was something she’d always done when you were together, so much so that she almost didn’t realise she was doing it. almost.
“what’s up?” she whispered in response.
“can you please stay? at least until i fall asleep.”
she hesitated for a moment second, then nodded.
“i’ll.. i’ll just stay here. beside the bed.”
you shook your head. “please hold me. the way you used to. just for tonight.”
chloe sighed. she could see tears lightly forming in your eyes. a small pout on your lips. she shouldn’t be doing this. just like she shouldn’t have stayed here for so long making sure you were okay. she couldn’t help the fact that she still cared so much though. she knew this was wrong. yet she still agreed.
she climbed into bed beside you, letting you curl up against her. her arm wrapped around you, the other still combing through your hair. you mumbled a couple incoherent things to her every so often, before falling into a deep sleep, safe against her.
when chloe was one hundred percent sure that you were sleeping, she carefully slipped out of bed. she left the room and headed to the kitchen, getting you a bottle of water out the fridge. she quietly placed it on the bedside table before heading to the living room. she needed to figure out what she was going to do next. she didn’t want to just leave. not without telling you. but she didn’t want to invade your space either because she knew that once you sobered up, you wouldn’t be happy that she was there.
she originally decided that sleeping on the sofa was her best bet, but what if you threw up in the night and forgot about the bin beside the bed? or what if something happened? she wouldn’t know or be able to help if she was on the sofa. so she ended up deciding that sleeping on your floor on the other side of the room would be best.
a couple blankets layered on the floor as a makeshift bed, and another blanket to cover her body. she also stole a pillow from the end of your bed. she borrowed some of your clothes to sleep in (she’d just throw them in the wash in the morning and you wouldn’t know) and she was ready to sleep. she felt at peace knowing that she would be there if you needed her throughout the night. and she was glad that she helped you after she’d dropped you off. she would’ve been worrying all night if she hadn’t. and she already knew that if she hadn’t you probably wouldn’t have even made it to your bedroom.
she was a little on edge at first. she’d be just falling asleep, but then she’d hear you move slightly and she was wide awake again. it took a while, but she eventually got to sleep. knowing that you were safe.

⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe doesn’t know what to do when you cry, not at first anyway. when you first got together she would try to comfort you when the tears began rolling down your cheeks, but ultimately just ended up embarrassing herself. you didn’t think it was embarrassing that she didn’t know what to do, you thought it was sweet that she tried so hard to make you feel okay. chloe on the other hand, she spent the following days mad at herself for not being able to help fully, and at night would sometimes cry because she felt like she wasn’t enough for you. she didn’t tell you about this until you’d been dating for about a year.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe eventually picked up on the little things she did that would cheer you up, and the signs that you were having a bad day after a little while of you being together.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe was always ready to come over to make you feel better, she’d always come with a bag of snacks, your favourite drink, and a list of movies you were going to watch together (that you’d probably end up talking through anyway). you always did the same for her when she was upset.
⊹₊⟡⋆ before you started dating, loser!chloe had the biggest crush on you. she wrote about you in her journal, would daydream about you all day every day (and would blush at the thought of you even talking to her), and if you somehow ran into each other while you were both going about your days? chloe would try to make small talk, but who am i kidding, she was stumbling over every other word and could feel her face getting redder by the second, especially when you would smile at her like that.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe didn’t know how to show her emotions in front of you, so she just didn’t. if she was upset about something, she wouldn’t let herself cry, instead she got angry. not at you. never at you. just at things in general. it stopped her from crying. it built up over time, though. one day it all got too much for her, she was upset, she tried to hide it, but ended up bursting into tears as she was yelling out her feelings.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe melted in your arms as you held her, she let her guard down for the first time, and definitely not the last time. it felt nice to be held. to be reminded that she was loved. to have someone there while she cried. and you were always there.
⊹₊⟡⋆ the first time loser!chloe fell asleep on your chest was sweet. it took her a while to get to sleep since she was wondering if you could feel how fast her heart was racing, or how warm her face had become. but she eventually realised that she could hear your heart, and feel the steady beat against her cheek, and that was all it took to send her to sleep.
~ the first time you fell asleep on her chest, she was even more panicked. every time you stirred, every time she slightly moved, she was worried she had woke you. you were knocked out though. the feeling of one of her shaky hands in your hair, whilst the other rubbed unsure circles on your back, that was enough to keep you in your deep sleep.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe asked you to help her re dye her hair, but spent the whole time sitting there admiring you through the mirror, while you made a slight mess with the dye.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe thought you were joking when you brought up the idea of having matching hair colours. you weren’t. you dyed the underneath of your hair the exact same colour as hers the next day. she didn’t think it was possible to fall more in love with you, but in that moment, she did.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe got so excited about the smallest things. you took her to a new place to hang out that she’d never seen before? she was in pure shock, before giving you the biggest smile and the tightest hug.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe would play video games in front of you, swearing she wasn’t going to rage quit this time (spoiler: she ended up rage quitting).
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe would try to flirt with you, thinking she was flustering you, but the second you’d flirt back, she was a mess.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe was lowkey a nerd about her favourite video games. it was cute. you could listen to her talk about her favourite things for hours.
mostly nsfw
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe tried to be dominant, but as she pleasured you, she slowly realised she was getting off from it too, and when you came, she was right there behind you.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe didn’t let you touch her at first, but it eventually got too much for her pleasuring you and denying she wanted anything in return, she finally gave in. she was more submissive than she wanted to admit. of course she still loved pleasing you too, though.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe always whined and moaned while she was fucking you, whether she was strapping you, or eating you out, her moans were heard alongside yours. and honestly it always turned you on more and made you cum faster.
~ on the rare occasion she wasn’t moaning with you, she would talk you through it, and was so gentle about it.
~ ‘you’re so good for me babe. i’ve got you, you can let it out. i’m so proud of you.’
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe took aftercare very seriously (as she should). she made sure to run you a bath, or if you weren’t in the mood for a bath, she’d use a wet cloth to wipe down your whole body, with a gentleness you’d never experienced before. it made your heart feel like it was going to burst. if you did want a bath, she’d take time washing your hair, massaging the shampoo into every strand, followed by rinsing that out and conditioning the ends. while that would sit, she carefully washed your body and your face, before rinsing the conditioner out.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe picked out your pyjamas carefully, finding the cosiest ones for you and helping you change into them.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe wouldn’t tell you when she was feeling needy, instead she would subtly grind against your thigh as the two of you laid in bed, but it never took you long to notice. you always took care of her when she needed you.
~ you would carefully lay her down, roaming your hands over her body, toying with more sensitive parts to get her even more worked up, before moving right to where she needed you the most. she always got slightly embarrassed when she was being submissive, but you reassured her that she was okay, and that she was so perfect in every single way.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe was already a mess within seconds, leaking all over your fingers and mouth, making a mess on the sheets below you.
⊹₊⟡⋆ you had to keep reminding loser!chloe to keep her hands to herself since she kept trying to grasp at your hands, or trying to touch herself and get more pleasure. you also had to remind her to keep her legs open, as you pushed them back open for what felt like the millionth time. poor girl just couldn’t handle it.
⊹₊⟡⋆ loser!chloe would lay with her head buried in the crook of your neck, and would end up sucking marks where everyone could see them. she wanted everyone to know that you were hers.
⊹₊⟡⋆ when loser!chloe came, she came hard. every time. her eyes would flutter closed, her hands would grasp the sheets so tight you’d think she was about to rip holes into them, her moans would get louder and louder until she was reduced to a whimpering mess when the pleasure became overstimulating.
⊹₊⟡⋆ long story short, maybe chloe seemed like a bit of a loser, but she was your loser, and you thought all her little ‘loser’ like qualities were cute. you wouldn’t want her any different.
a/n: first post on here for chloe, how did i do? i haven't written in a good few months..
