“If it isn’t Mr. Blue Collar,” Ren sung, shuffling down the bench to make space. It was a habit of hers, to sit in the middle of a vacant park bench; it made people uncomfortable, were they to join her, to be sitting so closely when there was clearly space to spread out. Often, most would avoid such a scenario. “Actually, Marinho Industries made a donation to WFP last week,” the brunette replied, before picking up on the sarcasm in his tone. How the tables have turned. “Are you asking me out on a date, Cobalt ?”
“Marinho Industries, not Lauren Marinho, right?” he pointed out with a smug smile. She was making this a tad easier for him than expected. It brought him some satisfaction to see her make space for him, maybe she wasn't quite as obnoxious as she let on. Tough bitch act was cracking already. "Take it as you want. But I gotta say I don't know how you 1% have fun with people if every proposition is a date invitation. It must make 'courting' really easy though."
