Arthur Harrow x female reader

Arthur Harrow had everything he ever wanted. A safe community, a goddess to pray to and freedom. And yet something was missing, he wanted someone with who he can share his future with. He prayed to Ammit and asked Her to send someone special to him. “My Goddess…please send someone my way with who I can share my future with” Arthur said as he prayed to Ammit. “My humble disciple, soon there will be no more loneliness in your heart. Retire to bed and sleep, for I will show you your significant other in your dreams” Ammit said. “Thank you, my goddess” Arthur said closing his prayer.

Arthur went to bed and that night he dreamt of the most beautiful woman ever. She had y/e/c and y/h/c. You and Arthur were lying in bed together as he admired you. He brushed his fingers through your hair as you talked to him. Suddenly, your positions changed and you were on top of him. You took his hand and moved your face closer to him and kissed him tenderly.

The next morning, Arthur woke up with a smile on his face. As he got dressed he wondered when he would meet the woman in his dream. Suddenly, there was a knock on his door. “Come in” Arthur said and a man entered his room. “Sorry to disturb you, Arthur” the man said. “What is it?” Arthur asked the man. “You should come take a look” the man said. “Very well” Arthur said and walked with the man to the hall. Arthur saw that there were people surrounding one of the tables. “What happened? What’s wrong?” he asked worriedly. The people made way for him and he saw a young woman sitting on one of the chairs.

Arthur stood back a little in shock when he saw her face. It was the woman from his dream. It was you. You were even more beautiful to him in real life but it looked like you were hurt. You had a couple of cuts and bruises on your arm. “She was sitting outside on the pavement so we told her to come inside, we hope that’s okay with you Arthur?” a woman asked. “Yes…of course” Arthur said. You looked up at him with tears in your eyes. Arthur gently touched your shoulder but you jumped a little and whimpered. “It’s okay…I’m not going to hurt you, no one’s going to hurt you here…you’re safe” he said and smiled gently at you. His heart hasn’t beaten this fast in a long time.

You looked down at the ground. Arthur knelt down next to you. “Why don’t I take care of those wounds?” he asked. His voice was so gentle. You nodded your head. Arthur took you to the side and asked someone to bring bandages. He sat you down on a chair in a corner away from the people. He saw that they all made you nervous when they crowded you.

You winced as he wrapped the bandages around your arm. “I’m sorry” he said sadly. The last thing he wanted to do was to hurt you. “Do you have anywhere to go to?” Arthur asked. You shook your head. “You can stay here? We have extra beds for anyone looking for a place to sleep” he said as he finished taking care of your wounds. You looked at the bandage and then at Arthur. “T-thank you” you said. “You can talk?” he asked jokingly. You blushed and smiled.
