It's hard when you're the "more successful" sibling because whenever they have financial issues, you're the go-to person.
I don't mind if it's my parents who need help. However, when it's my siblings (and knowing/witnessing how they wasted all the opportunities and sacrifices that my parents did for them), I have to always convince myself that I'm doing this for my mom's sake. They never even ask how I'm doing here.
I'm the youngest and the only degree holder in our family. Contrary to common belief, not because you're the youngest, everything will be handed to you. I had to stop for a year after graduating high school due to financial issues since 2 of my 3 older siblings are still in college. I persevered and was lucky enough to be granted a scholarship, and finished college.
A year after graduating college, I moved out, started living independently, and never asked for their help (my siblings). I never told them about the sleepless nights and struggles that I endured because I wanted to prove a point. I've been sick, experienced budgeting 100 pesos for an entire week (food + transpo), and was evicted from the apartment because I couldn't pay rent. And I never told them anything about it.
I don't know man. I hope I'll be fine.
