okay, since everyone is asking for context:

a while back kian was working on a server that added guns to minecraft (a thing that various servers have done previously)

mojang sent. i think a cease & desist? or just a threat? telling them to immediately stop and that theyre not allowed to because guns arent allowed under the eula (a eula that had been changed WITHOUT NOTIFYING ANYONE, which is illegal in the EU)

mojang was actually lying and making shit the frick up because nothing explicitly stated guns weren't allowed

kian set up a fundraiser for a lawsuit (and it reached ~147

k usd within a few days)

a while back again x2 salc1 did an experiment to see what would happen if you didnt migrate your mojang account. turns out, theyre deleted and you have to Rebuy The Game if you didnt migrate you account

a lot of people lost their 8-10+ year old accounts BECAUSE of this

turns out mojang has changed the eula a BUNCH without notifying anyone! and hasn't given anyone the option to agree or disagree with the new eula guidelines which is illegal! (they changed them 47 times, majority without notifying anyone. a few were notified, but majority weren't)

this can be taken as causing damaged to people with QUANTIFIABLE LOSSES because of people losing PAID ACCOUNTS which can be used to fight a legal case, among other things

impossible minecraft smp is really funny actually. the mod creator is just haging around, watching everyone die in the first five minutes. someone does something that kills them and immediatly another player does THE SAME THING to test it out. pearl said it was just like australia. the crafting table has guns. this is the best
