I kinda posted about this on twitter on an unpopular opinions post but it’s something I keep thinking about every time I see a post about neurodivergent Mega Man characters / headcanons about neurodivergent Mega Man characters

Guys??? Guys. Geo is like. Blatantly written as autistic. This isn’t even just about him obviously having an extremely obvious special interest in space (as well as machinery), there’s lots of other ways he shows symptoms of it too!

And the most interesting part of it is that it’s probably at least partially intentional! There’s a strong link between autism and shut-ins in Japan — there’s tons of studies on the topic. Though the reason Geo becomes a shut-in isn’t tied to him having autism obviously, it makes sense that he would be written that way.

I could probably write a whole thread on this if anyone except me cared so deeply about it LOLLL
