† Asshattery will be dealt with accordingly.

† Register your character's name in ALL CAPS: beings from Heaven and Hell have only a first name. Earthly beings have a first and last name.

† EUA accepts originals characters. However, we strongly encourage your first be a canon or request, so that you can get a feel for the board, the characters and the members. Why? Because originals can sometimes be hard to fit into place, and it can leave new members feeling left out and neglected. We feel that this ensures that they start out with at least one plot. If this is an issue, please chat with Cee.

† When choosing a face, we definitely allow alternative sources. You are granted free wiggle room with his or her age range, but please use age appropriate pictures.

† The board may delve into mature themes. We ask, as a courtesy, that you mark mature posts accordingly.

† Some days you have lots of muse. Other days, not so much. We get that...thus we have no word count. Please don't abuse that with one-liners.

† Your application will be perused asap. We require two admins' approval. If, after a day, you are still waiting, remind us in the Tagbox, located above the board, but please don't pester us about it; we do have lives outside of the board.

† Your first three characters are free. However, to app additional freebies, we require the prior char's plotter to be posted. After your freebies, we'll allow you countless others as long as each prior character has seven ic posts or a completed thread. No exceptions.

in the beginning...

The moment God breathed life into Adam, Heaven became divided.

Not all of the Heavenly host regarded mortals as The Father's most hallowed creation, and when commanded to bow to man, these angels refused to obey. Under the command of Lucifer, God's most beloved Seraph, a legion of incensed angels rose up and revolted against all who dared to express adulation.

War ripped Heaven apart, annihilating a myriad of angels on either side. His onslaught deemed the highest of betrayals, Lucifer and his army were cast from Heaven - banished from The Father, condemned for eternity.

And though a wager between the two sovereigns was never verbally made, it was understood, nevertheless: God and Lucifer were competing for souls.

For centuries, it's been an ongoing struggle that has persevered between those in Heaven and those in Hell. Mortal souls have become little more than pawns on a cosmic game board; each one a win to add to the tally. While Lucifer and his pentamerism of disciples were given free reign to roam the earth, angelic regiments were sent after them to keep the contention balanced.

However, Heaven wasn't prepared for the strategic move that consolidated Hell's battalion to target a lone locale. Thus, when New Orleans was stormed, the invasion caused a large upset in the natural balance between good and evil. This rift caused both Hell to rise upwards and unleash all of its demons onto the soil... and Purgatory to be ripped asunder to release every unclaimed soul from Limbo.

With Hell slowly consuming the city, Archangel Gabriel has ordered the Heavenly host to Earth. Instructions are clear: prevent demonic discord from spreading beyond New Orleans' hold. Unless they are stopped, it's only a matter of time until the Fallen devour the city, leaving it in ashes before moving on to conquer the remains of the world...

The apocalypse is now. ...For which side of the war will you crusade?
