u know, noodle and murdoc are the only ones in band who dont have a family and theyre also they only ones who have called gorillaz their family, so i wonder if that was intentional. 

i also wonder if it was intentional for them to have noodle address russ as an uncle and 2D as a brother, giving neither the title of “father” while also giving no title to murdoc, only for murdoc say shes “like a daughter” to him (and be the only one to ever do so in-canon) as if to act as a parallel.

Little things about the G-Shock - Mission M101 video

I just love it so much, i keep rewatching it…so here are some things i noticed that are just neat!

Things that don’t add up

-Murdoc did not start the #freemurdoc campaign, even before that fan made the petition. there were the blimps in the tour promo images, and the derby horse, that murdoc didnt know about until the interviewer brought up the campaign in the noisy interview 

-free murdoc was on the prison form

-You only talk to vlad through the prison system. He has 2 tattoos for el mierda, his boss. when he showed us the map and tried to tell us about the soul-snatching business, he was disconnected. He told us how Murdoc’s “fight” really happened so i don’t think it was secretly murdoc talking to us.

-why would vlad be nervous about sharing a map to a spa?

-whats with the murdoc images and “my soul” page in 2D’s journal?

-2D’s white eyes remain one of the most constant things in this phase

-noodle only got in contact with the prison through el mierda 

-we are deliberately shown Juan’s card in stroblite

-the souk eye visuals no longer make sense

-why would murdoc go to el mierda’s hideout if he knows that he’s innocent? 

-why does murdoc look restrained?

the heck is happening
