Maybe you should bro, you're ostensibly in a horror podcast. Also, this statement was only 7 and a half minutes long. They've fully given up on statements as the heart of the show in favor of a bunch of very obtuse characters arguing with each other about the same shit day after day.

The fact that Rose says "my Pearl" to Pearl... A lot of people wonder, "oh, she belonged to Rose". No one calls their Pearl "my Pearl", people only say that to their superiors. So there's actually a lot more going on in that scene.
—Rebecca Sugar, The Truth About Rose Quartz
oh my GOD how did I never notice this... the implications of servitude and devotion that are carried by the way that homeworld gems address their superiors ("my diamond") being reversed when rose addresses pearl as "my pearl"... it's not ownership, it's acknowledging the importance and the value of pearl in her life in a way that is extremely emotionally weighted for each of them, as a pearl (the lowest class) and a diamond (the highest), respectively... i need to sit down ;u;
