ㅤㅤㅤㅤHe  tries  to  make  it  playful,  a  hollow  tilt  to  the  corner  of  his  lips  as  he  nudges  his  elbow  against  hers.  But  then,  a  sigh,  ashes  flicked  away  as  he  sinks  forward,  elbows  propped  against  his  knees. ㅤ❝ I  don't  want  to  go.  If  I  had  the  choice,  I  wouldn't. ❞ㅤ A  pause,  more  solemn, honest  as  he  whispers, ㅤ❝ I'm  scared,  Do. ❞ㅤ Dae  swallows  again,  his  eyes  avoidant. ㅤ❝ I'm  scared  it'll  kill  me.  Not  literally,  I  just  .  .  .  I'm  scared  of  the  kind  of  person  it  could  turn  me  into.  What  it  might  take  away  from  me.  I  still  want  to  be  me  when  I  come  back. ❞

She shrugs, "I'm sure they'll keep you pretty busy. I'm not expecting you'll be able to respond to all of them." She's the one who is going to be 'on break', not him. "But I need to have somewhere I can vent," Doyeon says, cracking a forced smile upon her face. "I'm still going to be in charge of all the kids," she teases, genuinely. "They're losing their 오빠들 ~ 형들, but 언니 ~ 누나 is still around."

Doyeon rests her head upon Dae's shoulder. "I know." She's overheard the pleas of grown men on their knees begging, but neither of them have the power to change it right now. Fingers reach over and brush through his hair. "You'll still be you," she says it like a promise, "You'll be a little different, we all will be, but we'll be stronger - just like the trainee days. We aren't those kids anymore, haven't been for a long time now, we're stronger - even stronger when we're together. What makes you think this will be so different?"

she was intent to drive him crazy. joon is fully aware of how much he needs her, how his body responds to her every single time they so much as brush past each other. it's goes beyond attraction, it goes beyond admiration. it goes beyond skin deep, sinks into his bones in a way that he's sure will never fully subside. ( and he wouldn't have it any other way. ) and as she bends down, hides them both with her hair as her chest presses against the thin material of his t-shirt, joon swears he could spend every single second of every single day doing exactly this. ( much to the chagrin of their bandmates. )

groaning, his hands curl tightly against her waist. fingers splay at the small of her back, before they slide up, tracing a faint line along the length of her spine. "you have no idea," he warns, tone low and gravely where he speaks against the warmth of her cheek. "no idea what you do to me." his other hand squeezes her side, just once, before the pads of his finger tips trail across her abdomen. carefully, he pulls back enough to snake his hand up, up, up, pressing gently against her sternum as he waits. teases.

he gives her another gentle roll of his hips, too, to show her what he means. ( there's no sense in hiding it -- joon doesn't deal in shame. he deals in open, unbridled want. and he wants her. more than he can ever put into words. ) the hand at her back slides up, twists her hair to the side so it rests over her shoulder, while his lips press soft, barely there kisses against the bend of her jaw. "tell me you need it," he commends, "and i'll give it to you."

Every little movement of exploration over her skin and groan tells her that what she's saying is true. It's not a secret to her. She's always been terrible at reading people, but not Joon - with Joon, it's as though there is a tether connecting them. It gives her the kind of safety that encourages her to be bold and say the things she might otherwise be too terrified to admit.

Her body stills as his hands explore up the expanse of her torso. Dark eyes watch his carefully until her lower lip begins to quiver and a moan sneaks its way out as it vibrates her vocal chords.

Doyeon's hand leaves its commanding place beneath Joon's chin. She exchanges it to sneak her hand underneath the bottom of his shirts. Chilled fingertips teasing at defined muscle until she steadies herself back close against him. "I have an informed idea," she smirks.

She leans further against him, hand pressing harder against his abdomen. "However if you refer to what I want as it one more time, I fear I may have to hit you," she bites.

joon remains silent, watches doyeon with lidded eyes as she turns in his lap. his hands are easily guided to her hips, and his fingers flex against her bare skin -- she's still so warm. it sends a thrill down his spine, knowing he does this to her. knowing she's the only one that does it to him in return. and by the time she's settled fully against him, legs bracketing his thighs while her hands settle against him, joon doesn't even know what they were fake arguing about. all he can think about is her.

with a groan, he leans up, noses along her jaw line with careful, practiced movements. "you want that?" he asks, knowing full well the answer. because against her thigh, he's already twitching, arousal blooming underneath the haphazardly askew shorts he'd forced himself back into out of fear of wandering eyes. "want me to fuck you whenever you want? do you need it that badly?" his tone is teasing, but his body betrays his confidence -- already, he slides a hand to the small of her back, presses her against his chest as his legs fall open. an invitation for her to stay exactly where she is.

The headiness in his voice sends a ripple through her body. His voice, his touch, him like a skeleton key unlocking each door he comes across and unleashing the flood. "Some days," she whispers in confession. Her body follows where his hand guides, thighs locked in place, open, trapped by the outside of his — exactly where she wants to be.

Doyeon trails an index finger along the perimeter of Joon's face until it meets his chin. She curls her finger beneath it, taking the rare height advantage she has, hovering just barely over him, to tilt his gaze up to her. "It is not what I need so badly," she clarifies, "It's you." She'd offer a touch as proof, if it was possible to discern from just before and from now. But she knows he doesn't need it because she can just barely feel his proof of how in-sync their desires are by the subtle brushing of her thigh against his. If only he knew how tightly the strings in her body are being held to prevent herself from acting on impulse to glide her fabric covered core over it to chase relief from the vulnerable pulsation she feels with her legs held open firmly above him.

"I know it's not just me," she verbalizes, her brow twitching upward. She leans herself further against him. Slick, black hair cascading down around them in a shield, bare breasts brushing against his chest. "You can't tell me you don't wish some days you could pull me against you at any time of day to claim what belongs to you," she whispers.

Her arms hang over the tops of her knees where she is crouched near the ground. She just wants to hear him say it. A memory to look back on when things get tough on this side. She knows it's not a fair ask. What both of them will have to go through for the next two years is not the same. Heavy emptiness hangs between them, and Doyeon lets it for a moment. The loud silence of everything known but left unsaid. Doyeon sighs, breaking the temporary silence, and turns her head, "I'll miss you." Because making it easier is not in her skillset. "I could write to you, give you something to look forward to."

@foundwild (Joon) said "that "terrifying creature" was, in, fact, a cat."

She looks down at the creature on the floor and slowly back up at Joon, her body neatly caressed into his side. "When the hell did you get a cat!?" She looks back down at it and tries to remember ever coming across even a tail standing tall with its body unseen as it scampered across the floor, but no such memories come.

Doyeon chuckles. "Mixing," she states rather plainly to her junior. She zooms into the mix field on the program. She points to the center bar, "This is a sample of a old archival footage that I isolated and built everything around it, letting it be the foundation for the sound. I highlight traditional elements, not bury them, in my work." She clicks on a few buttons and wheels out of the way. "Find what you want the heart of your song to be and build things to compliment it, incorporate some contrasting elements strategically."

Something within Doyeon begins to curl, she can feel it in her stomach. It shouldn't bother her. There's no cameras around, no mics, she's nearly incognito to the rest of the public. But that's the thing, even with all of that, it bothers her, makes her stomach lurch and curl and she can feel her blood beginning to boil just beneath the surface. "They're not a cult." There may be the oddball fan or two, but inyeon leaves the group significantly more privacy than the media does. "I don't understand artists who put down their fans as if we would be where we are today without them."

Doyeon blinks as she stares blankly into her iced coffee. "Ng, ng," she agrees, nodding her head. She turns her straw into a spoon and stirs the ice and remaining coffee around. "And you wouldn't ever know it, some people work very hard to pretend to be normal. But what do you expect me to do about it?" A person pretending to be normal, who spends every ounce of energy she has just to go unnoticed, thankful every day that no one notices that she is different.

Obsidian black eyes flick up and she looks at Daehyun through thin black lashes. "Were you expecting a debate?" she asks.

the second she begins to pepper his skin with kisses, he's a goner. there's nothing in him that wants to fight back anyways, but -- there's something so soft about the way she touches him. the way she turns over her shoulder, runs her fingers through his hair softly to try and hold on. it makes him smirk, a low hum escaping his barely parted lips as his arms tighten around her center. "if this is your way of asking me for another round," he starts, teasing her gently as he noses against the side of her face, presses a fleeting kiss to her temple, "just know i happily accept. and you definitely don't need a bra for that." there's a smirk on his lips as he speaks, and his eyes shine back her, a little mischievous, as he presses a peck to the tip of her nose. "and if you're that worried, then -- i'll protect you. don't worry. you can hide behind me." he pauses, brows wiggling. "or under me."

A corner of her lip turns up as she listens to his words. "I should call you greedy," she teases. The warmth of his hands over her bare skin act like a flint, striking at just the right spot to start a flame that she can't make herself look away from. "But that would make me a hypocrite." The fingers she's entangled in his hair loosen and return back to her side. She moves Joon's hands back to either side of her hips. "If they see you in here naked, I'll think they'll already know."

Doyeon gets up and turns until she is properly facing him. She props one shin up onto the cushion right beside Joon's thigh. "But I don't want to talk about them right now." On her opposite side, she pulls up the hem of her sweatpants and uses Joon's shoulder as leverage with the other. She pulls herself over him, both of her legs to either side of Joon's thighs. "If we're going to talk," she says, looking down over him, "It should be about how I should invest in more skirts to make it easier for you to fuck me." There's a sharp glimmer in her nearly pitch black eyes. "Because that's how much, how often I want you."

when she finally settles against him, joon lets a hand rub soothingly along her spine. he likes her like this, he's decided. there's something so intimate about being able to be like this -- to watch the way her brain begins to slow down in real time, the way she lets herself be calm and simply exist. even if it's only for a small while. his smile is soft, and joon ducks down, presses a kiss to the crown of her head. "of course i'd say that," he parrots easily. "you're half naked and in my lap, do you think i want that to change?" there's a pause, and joon snickers to himself, curls his hand around her waist as his eyes cut to the window, too. "no one's gonna come in," he assures her. "i think they know better by now, honestly. and if they don't?" he shrugs a shoulder. "i have no issue reminding them."

Doyeon teasingly shakes her head carefully back and forth. She's not surprised, in fact, she'd be disappointed if he confessed to anything different despite the predicament. "It'd be better ... for me ... If I could at least find my bra," she says. Doyeon closes her eyes and focuses on the feeling of Joon's hands on her skin as she takes in slow, deep breaths. "I wouldn't care what situation we're in — if it was anyone but SAMSARA." Still, he's probably right. No one is going to come in. Fingernails catch and pull at her long pitch black hair into a singular bundle, pushing it over her shoulder.

She rests her head against his shoulder, melting even further into him. Doyeon turns her head towards him, her lips beginning to pepper kisses along the lower portion of the column of his neck. An arm reaches over and combs up into his hair. "I must say, it's really hot hearing how much you don't care," she whispers near his ear.
