Jacket Pattern for duke of Windsor
British hunting coat in 50s. The red hunting coat is characteristic of a bygone age in Britain, when fox hunts were a common countryside sight. Only masters of the hunt, hunt staff and those who have received their 'hunt button'-given by master for long service to the hunt- are entitled to wear the red jacket. All participants wear a navy or black one with plain black buttons. The five buttons on the front denotes that it was worn by horseman or a 'whipped-in', as hunt staff are known. Four buttons would denote a hunt master.
- Vintage menswear, a collection from the vintage showroom-
Should focus on how to mix and match and play around with the fabric and print. Grey cool cardigan, navy with white dot shirt, glencheck wool pants having similar tone with cardigan, wool padded vest and the dark navy jacket finally covering everything.
