it’s fucking wild because one day you’re like i guess i’m not dying tragically young and you go to the store and you buy dental floss, ingredients for soup, and a bath mat
it’s this sentiment in practice, in day to day.
its so sad when u have a headache from looking at a screen and wearing headphones all day. bc its like ewwww i feel bad i wanna crawl into a bed and put on headphones and look at a screen. but actually what will cure you is going outside and staring at the mountains or something. terrible. awful
Happy New Year by lei min
Hua Long Dian Jing (画龙点腈) 618 A.D. - 907 A.D.: Bringing a painted dragon to life by dotting its eyes. An artist painted dragons so realistically that he had to leave the eyes off to prevent the dragons from flying away. This idiom came from a story in “Collection of Famous Paintings” by Zhang Yanyuan (张彦远). The moral of the story is the idiom shows the significance of the finishing touches when one is making a point in his or her writing or speaking. (…) for many centuries China was a world trade center. After World War II, China kept to itself and did not participate in much world trade. However, today the dragon’s eyes have been completed, and once again China has become a great trading nation, as its dragons fly throughout the world.
Rain 。
I love the rain. I love the sweet smell of earth right before it rains. I love rainy mornings, it’s the perfect weather to study in. I love rainy afternoons and evenings, it’s the perfect weather to drink hot chocolate and read a book while listening to music. I find rain to be comforting, maybe because it signifies a cycle. There are days when I don’t like rain. I hate rain because there are bugs everywhere. I hate rain because it makes me sad. I hate rain because the sky weeps. Rain reminds me of the days that are long gone. Like the days when I sailed little paper boats down the rain water. Rain makes me sad.
Evening in Tbilisi.
When the eye speaks louder than words.
