A big ol’ apologies to all non-Tumblr bots who follow me and/or my side blogs for my impromptu hiatus. 

Daily dashboard checks and rare scheduled post/reblog aside, updating the Tumblrs has had to take a back seat. I’ve just been busy with real life stuff these last few weeks and needed a social media breather.

Europa-Park had its “soft opening”, with the traditional fanfare/confetti/tape cutting and Mack family appearance, for Madame Freudenreich’s Curiosités earlier today in the France quarter. I sadly was not there for the occasion so here’s a video by someone else.

Taking over from Universum der Energie - Dinosaurierfahrt, the dark ride is re-using the same system and animatronics as before.Presumably because the dinosaur animatronics are too expensive to rip out. 

The plot is utterly bonkers though. Basically, Madame Freudenreich of Alsace takes cares of dinosaurs and dresses them up in her dead husband’s clothes and you gatecrash a T-Rex’s party. I genuinely cannot say any more. 

Love how the park geese turned up for the occasion and honked throughout the entire ceremony. They’re my favourites.

Pfff, sorry for the radio silence these last few days. I completely forgot to edit and load more photos on here at the weekend and my other main interest has me in gripped. I’ll have this impromptu hiatus until this coming weekend though.
