Gorgeous end to our amazing adventure

Day 28 in Madrid

Today was such a bittersweet day! We don't want this tour to end because we have so much more to see! We started our day off with a great breakfast from the hostel and then went to the Prado museum where we enjoyed seeing many different art pieces. There was this creepy street performer in a dog costume that said hi to you in a dog house if you walked by which was really odd. We then walked to the Retiro park where there were gorgeous flowers. We also discovered the fallen angel aka Satan and took a picture of him. Then we walked back to the hostel to have lunch near there at a random restaurant yet this was an AMAZING dining experience. We got rosé wine, Gazpacho and bread to start. We then ordered our food where we got Caesar salads. After this we were given complimentary mini mango smoothies and dessert which was some type of mousse. Then we were given two different alcohols, limoncello and another flavor that tasted like cough syrup with codeine ha We were so shocked we received so much. Then we went souvenir shopping in the Adidas store and PrimeMark until we had to get ready for our final farewell dinner 😣For dinner we had steak and potatoes, bread with meat and cheese and we had some red wine with Fanta in order to make our own sangria 😜We then walked to a park in order to take group pictures and watch the sunset. We ended our night on the top of a building with a large bar overlooking Madrid with an amazing view and amazing company. We do NOT want this trip to end! We have become pretty good at packing and repacking in order to make things fit well that we will not know what to do when we get back to the States ha We are sad to see this adventure end but there will be many more to come! This is not the end but a see you next time
