We tend the temples, keep it clean and wealthy, we garden out plants and nurture our animals and we pray each sunrise and sunset to the Gods. Simple rituals involving sacrificial wine and food.

Estelle glanced at the box the woman was holding, spotting a batch full of crystals, fabrics and herbs. Narrowing her eyes, she nodded in approval. "Yes, it will be of use, thank you. How much am I in your debt?"

"I am about to perform a ritual for the coronation. You better say, what you have come here to say, to me fast. The time is almost perfect."

It’s because you’re a priestess they think you will cure them. When people are sick, they need hope. A priestess is a link to the gods and who better to give them hope?

I am aware of that, my lady. Hope is a powerful thing, even an idea of a cure could be useful.
