Someone  asked “What would Eva do it her partner cheated on her?”

Eva would, to be quite honest, fall apart. She is a very trusting and caring person. When in a relationship, she does all she can to make her partner feel at ease and loved. She really goes into 60′s housewife mode with pampering and being super affectionate.  If she found her partner was unfaithful, it would first of course be a total shock to her. Then she would think she did something wrong or wasn’t good enough. The pain... she wouldn’t be able to describe it. And after losing someone she loved to death, and then her heart being broken, Eva’s hope in love actually being a thing would be questionable.

Since this is Eva’s One Piece Verse Blog, I am going to focus on the song(s) that relate to inspiration for this verse.

Song: Control by Halsey

Inspiration: This song was on my mind a lot when I first designed Eva. Just the tone of the song and the constant question of if the singer has any control in their life just called out to the creation. Eva has her visions she can’t control, was kidnapped and enslaved, and even went into a rage and killed a man. All these moments in her life she has little to no control and is scared, fit the eeriness of the song. It even is the reason Halsey is Eva’s singing voice claim.

 Song: Lost in Thoughts All Alone – from Fire Emblem Fates

Inspiration: Listening to the song, and then learning the translation, just connects to Eva’s hope but also the realization of how painful the world can be. And the way it calls for someone is like how Eva hopes to find someone to love her and make her feel safe. Also, Eva tends to enjoy the song, humming it when baking or alone on the deck of the ship.

Wolf’s Christmas Gala Announcement!

     Tumblr may be putting a damper on the holidays this year with the NSFW ban coming up, but that hasn’t put a damper on my plans. This month, starting on Monday the 10th and ending New Year’s Day, January 1st, 2019, I and a few others will be hosting a Discord event for those of you out there wanting to have some fun!

     This event is targeted towards One Piece roleplayers and ask blogs, but all are welcome to join in on the fun! We’d love to have you there! I will be posting the invite link to the Discord server on Monday, the 10th, at 10:00 PST.

Here is some info about the event itself:

This is a formal event, so have your muse(s) dress nicely. Christmas-themed outfits, along with Christmas hats, jewelry, etc. are 100% acceptable.

The event takes place in a two-story manor; the layout will be posted on Saturday the 8th.

When you post pictures/writing related to the event, please use the tag ‘#wolf’s christmas gala’, so we can see it!

Has Eva ever had her heart broken?

The screams for mercy that made her voice hoarse. The sight of a man who kept her sane, kept her wanting to live, being beaten an inch from death. The false offer to save his life, only to watch him sink into the sea… 

When Eva relived those memories in her nightmares, they were always so real that when she woke in a sweat, her arms still felt the strain of trying to keep the cannonballs from dragging her first love to the depths. The young woman still couldn’t even look down into the sea at night; pain and guilt turning into an unrealistic fear of seeing his soul staring back at her. 

Blinking a few tears away, Eva looked up at the curious person who had asked her such a personal question. “Y-yes,” It was hard to keep her voice from cracking, “O-once, a long time ago… ” She looked away, back to the sea in the distance, “He was taken from me…” biting her lower lip to fight it quivering, Eva’s head lowered in sorrow, “Please, it’s not a memory I want to talk about.”

Thanksgiving Thankful List

I know many of my followers on her probably don’t celebrate Thanksgiving (Nov 22nd), so basically it is a holiday that we celebrate and remember what we are thankful for.  So here is a list of people and things I am thankful for. Gonna be really busy working the next two days because of holiday sales at work but wanted to make sure this was out here. 

People I am very thankful are in my life. And for the record, there are many I am thankful for, but these people have been really supportive and special to me as of late, please do not take offense if you are not on here, you are still appreciated.

This hits so deep for me. Every time I have had a cat pass, no joke, we have found a stray kitten/ cat within the month before they pass. It is like, they have a secret code. We broke the chains when we didn’t know our 13 yr old cat was near her end with us and gave the stray to our neighbors with 3 young girls to love it. But yes... I swear the cars all work together

I’m sorry, I thought I was meant to keep the original tags when reblogging so they can get credit and also connect back to them. I will refrain from that in the future
