These guys are the arbiters of cool. With the exception of Dylan in the 60’s, these guys are it. 

I look at these guys as a measure of what artists can do. Not only have they made some forward thinking music, but as individuals they have either published their own poetry, composed (film) soundtracks, appeared or narrated documentaries, designed clothes, operated a record label, directed, written or acted in films or written for magazines, and probably some more stuff that I neglected to mentioned.  According to a friend who met them at an All Tomorrow’s Party festival last year, they’re both nice and down to Earth. So cool. 

So yeah, definitely look up to and respect these guys.
